Wonderful staff - super-friendly and kind; all fluent in English. Great location, amidst hubbub of Myeondong, but also not right on main street. Do not stay here if you do not like crowds or a Times Square atmosphere. Easy walkable access to numerous shops, sights (eg. DDP, Prison Museum, City Hall; food markets, etc., and even cathedral). Safe area, can go out late at night with minimal concerns (in general, safe country!). Close to public transpo lines. Compact room; small, wet washrm (wetrooms are convention in Korea) marginally larger than a plane lavatory; would be much better if door swung out and not inwards into an already tiny washrm, which would likely make it challenging for larger people to negotiate that space. Appreciated presence of recycling bins, and absence of single-use toiletries and disposable slippers. Would be extra nice to address super-drafty windows and avoid repetitive distribution of rules (emailed/texted pre-arrival, then reviewed with staff and also unnecessarily printed out on arrival, AND also a copy in room. It is a lot; one time/copy is enough for the majority of us who will abide by them.) Thank you for a nice stay!

The staffs were very friendly and enthusiastic, and they always check-in with us about our stay. The laundry service was really nice as they wash and fold your clothes for you. They also reply to messages really fast and the checkin and checkout process is really conveniently for those who arrives and leave ouside the office hours. Overall, it is a very good place to stay for such price. The room and bathroom is kinda small and you have to be careful about the water leaking out to the room when showering. The walls are kinda thin for those who are sensitive to sound However, the place is normally pretty quiet and chill. In front of the building is kinda dirty with all the trash, but it is a convenient spot to walk to places.

This was my third stay there. It's not 'posh' like a regular hotel, but it's clean, the amenities are nice, the lobby area where breakfast is (toast, coffee, cereal) is clean and nice, and the staff are friendly. Complimentary umbrellas to borrow. Mini fridge in the room. I had booked a stay at K-Pop Residence a block away, and that went HORRIBLY, so I booked my tried and true Meyongdong OYO 3. It's so close to all the shopping. Please note that there are about 6 steps you have to go up before getting to the elevator. The outside looks 'sketchy' but it's really not at all sketchy. Also, if you're staying multiple days, they will do your laundry for about $10 US dollars per basket. The hotel is just about a 4-5 minute walk from Meyongdong station (metro) and a GREAT restaurant nearby is Meyongdong Kyoja. Cathedral is around the corner, about a 5-8 minute walk. I want to be honest; my mom would not really like it here, as she's into "Marriot" and "Hilton" lifestyle. But I'm an easy person to please and all I want is convenient, clean, and trustworthy. Twice I went with my daughter, once alone. Bunkbeds were fine with us. Once we got a queenbed. There's a 'family room' I stayed in once with two sets of bunk beds (it was the only one left). I would definitely return.

The staff were very nice and helpful, they let us leave our luggage before check in as we had arrived early. The room itself is quite basic but has everything you could need, it is quite small but it does the job! I definitely recommend coming here as the location is perfect you gave many shops around and you are right next to myeongdong street.

Lovely time. Excellent staff, very friendly, and SUPERB location. We stayed in March and the room was a bit chillybat night, even with the provided space heater, so we needed extra blankets. The mattresses were VERY thin and felt as though you were sleeping on the floor. Quite uncomfortable and could not sleep well due to the pain and inability to get comfy. They also lack usb charging ports, so make sure you bring an actual charging brick, or you'll need to borrow one from the front desk or buy a charger from one of the convenience stores.

Very nice hostel

This was one of the better hostels I have stayed in. It was a tiny room, but very clean. Also the hostel has quiet hours, which is a big plus. The location was good and close to transportation. The only big negative was there was no where in the room to put your luggage. It could have gone under the bed, but there wasn't a bin.
