Pathetic is the word. My wife and I checked out of this property within 30 mins of checking in. The villa had a lot of mosquitos and the bathroom was stinky. I got so many mosquito bites within initial few minutes that we thought to checkout as it was unhygienic. The other pathetic service: when I called the reception to tell them that we’ll be checking out (within 30 minutes of checking in) and told them the reason, instead of giving me better option or compensating me, they told me that they can’t refund me which clearly states it’s only about money for them not customer satisfaction or providing good customer service. I would like to give negative stars to this property if I had an option.

A wonderful property. Very nicely laid out, comfortably appointed villas, clean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. A convenient location ( taxi to Seminyak was between 27-35 IDR. I would stay again.

Our stay here was great! Having a private pool was amazing. Room was clean/tidy and the villas' garden and hotel grounds are very well kept. One small downside was the shower water pressure wasn't very strong. One thing to make note of is that you're not walking distance from anything. With this said, the hotel has a shuttle bus and a BlueBird taxi (that is normally only $5) will get you to Seminyak in 10 min.

Luxury Villa With Private Pool

Beautiful villa, well kept and clean, and with very friendly and helpful reception staff. Food at restaurant wasn't great, but reasonable, and always served with a smile. A little haven away from all the busyness - but for £2.50 you can get a taxi into town (and there's a free shuttle at 10 am, 1pm and 3 pm (one way only)).

The Aldeoz was the perfect place for my friend and to stay! It was close enough, that a short trip into town was easy to do daily, and for the brave I’d recommend trying a moped! My friend and I zipped all around their crazy roads but we loved it! The property itself was absolutely beautiful and the staff good not be any more accommodating and nice. They were the sweetest people and we loved getting to know them and enjoy their wonderful hospitality. The villas are beautiful, having our own pool was such a treat, with their all day/ night warm temp, so it was constantly used. The garden and outdoor lounge was perfect to just lay and relax in. The house keepers came around in the evening to ensure the mosquitoes were at bay by lighting a new coil in the bathroom and outdoor sitting area. It certainly helped! (We still had our repellent to be sure). The shower was so pretty, it felt like it was outside and open open, but also enclosed, a real treat to the big bathroom, plenty of room for my friend and I to get ready in (both girls). The bed was so comfy, slept really good every night. We got to use the Aldeoz spa facilities also, and their massages were just amazing! All in all I’ll be returning again, with their fantastic food at their insight restaurant surroundings are beautiful to the wonderful staff and facilities, could not think of going anywhere else!

Friendly but poor quality service

We booked an airport transfer with the hotel via the Expedia messaging app. When we arrived there was no one waiting for us, we looked / waited for an hour and tried to call the # for the driver the hotel sent us. We took a taxi, when we asked about our missing transfer we were advised it was our fault because we didn’t confirm. I explained I had the confirmation including our flight details and advice that the driver would be waiting with a sign, but the check in person said it must have been another member of staff who confirmed with us... The villas are nice, the location is not close to anything but taxi is easy to get. The breakfast is average at best, but poor by Bali standards. The restaurant staff are friendly but not attentive. We were the only customers with four staff and we still had to get up from our table and go to the bar to order a drink rather than have someone come over and check on us. We couldn’t book the spa because the spa staff were too busy with other clients to take our booking and the reception staff also said they were too busy to take a note and call us to advise when the spa staff were available. We ordered room service for lunch and asked reception to organise the collection of our dirty plates later that evening, were told no problem they would collect the next day. There were 3 people at reception doing nothing. Reception is 5m from restaurant. It was a battle to get anything done other than ordering a taxi.

Great Staff not a Great Location

The hotel is really nice, but little things like the tiling on the private Villa Pool needs to be repaired. The staff were excellent. However the location means that every time your want to go out you need either the free hotel shuttle (one way only) or a taxi or car and driver. The food is good, and service is great, however they did run out of wine and the distributor didn't come for a couple of days. I prefer hotels where you can walk to the shops and pubs and restaurants.

Nice stay

The hotel and its staff were very good. When we checked in there was a sewage smell in one of the bedrooms in our villa. We asked them to give us another room and they informed us that they could not since they were fully booked. They sent a crew to try and resolve the smell issue - they were able to fix it the next day. Barring this inconvenience the rest of our stay was completely comfortable. There were a lot of mosquitoes here, despite the coils/incense provided we still got bitten quite a bit. I would suggest providing each bed with a mosquito net.

Cheeky couple of nights in Bali...

Typical Bali Villa, private and comfortable. Lovely bath (full of petals on arrival) and an outside shower. Your own plunge pool but a large pool next to receiption is also available to guests. Food was fine and staff are very keen and helpful. They will help you book a car or a taxi making getting about the island very easy.

Wonderful Honeymoon

We just got back from a one-week stay in Bali for our honeymoon and I have to say one of the best decisions we made was choosing this villa. It is now called Transera Grand Kancana Villas and Spa. The service is fantastic - they go above and beyond to try to help you with anything you need. The cleanliness and privacy of the villas is what I loved the most. And there is no better feeling than coming back from an excursion, the beach, or out shopping/dining and being able to cool off in our own private pool. Breakfast is served every morning and while it is true that it isn't anything too special, there wasn't anything to really complain about... And we found it to be a great opportunity to dine in the on-site restaurant and meet other guests from all over the world. The spa services are absolutely wonderful. The only thing I would have to mention is that because it is still a relatively new villa, there are some taxis that are not too familiar with where it is located. The management is aware of this, and they gave us a map showing their exact location whenever we went out, and we found this to be incredibly helpful when getting a taxi back to the villa. Over time, I'm sure this will no longer be an issue, but until then, bring the map with you! We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for privacy, room quality, cleanliness, and an overall fantastic experience. Enjoy!

Staff is kind and helpful, place is clean , but Manager is very , very greedy .....trying to make a peny here make an extra penny there, trying to make up some silly excuses to charge for everything extra... His non genuine interest on the clients is not more than trying to charge them more with any possible opportunity... Private Pool villas , look good in the pictures , but the overall area that you can suntan is soo small that you can not help feel claustrophobic.. We could not stand the attitute from the manager and the disliked the villas smallness and had to move to another hotel alltogether ... only after that we were able to breath and enjoy our stay... bali is good , Royal Kancana is Royal Pain ....avoid it at all cost ...manager will make your stay very uncomfortable

Excellent rapport qualité prix

Tres bon séjour passé dans cette villa Le cadre est vraiment comme sur les photos et tres calme L’établissement est propre. Bon choix de menu au petit déjeuner. Pour une villa avec piscine privée, le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Je recommande !
