Nestled in a tranquil location, Oakwood Lodge 16 provides the perfect escape from day to day life and the ideal couples retreat.

Imagine the ultimate relaxation, in a luxurious hot tub, overlooking the stunning lake setting…

The lodge consists of a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space, a separate toilet and a master bedroom suite.

The kitchen area is well equipped for a guest to cook a basic meal, with all the electrical appliances you should need including a dishwasher, oven and hob, kettle, toaster and an air fryer. Following on from the kitchen is a breakfast bar with seating for 2 and a dining table also. Offering the option to dine in, or dine out at one of the delicious local restaurants.

The living space provides a comfortable sofa overlooking the Smart Tv and an electric fire.

Heading into the master bedroom, you will see a king size bed, a contained walk in shower cubicle and a free standing bath.
Clothes storage and a hanging rail, alongside a small dressing table can also be found in the bedroom for your use.

The stunning outside area offers a spacious decked area, overlooking the lake. With outdoor dining space for 2 and a luxury 4 seater hot tub.

The lodge park itself offers a peaceful and scenic setting to base your stay. The surrounding area offers a number of delicious restaurants, along side being just a 15 minute drive away from York's Designer Shopping outlet and just a 25 minute drive away from the historic City of York.

Beautiful lodge, we stayed last year and it was nice but needed some TLC which the new owners have done perfectly, they have made the hot tub fully private now with a cover over the top - perfect break

The best, relaxing start to 2026!

This was our first time starting at Oakwood lodges and it was perfect. Beautiful lodge! Loved sitting in the hot tub watching the wild life around the pond. It’s got everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. We would love to come back and potentially bring more family and friends next time.

A wonderful stay ,lodge beautiful, best hot tub we have ever had.

Had a great stay, lodge lovely and clean,great decor,and the best hot tub we have ever had!.great to feed the ducks from the decking. A couple of personal points , could do with a shelf in the shower to put you shower gel etc on , A waterproof mat inside the patio doors for when you come out of the hot tub to stop you trailing water across the lounge floor

Wow, just perfect!

This place exceeded all of our expectations in all honesty, it was beautiful inside and out. So well layed out and was perfect for me and my partner. Everything we needed was very friendly, the staff were so incredibly helpful which made the experience positive from the start. The lodge was immaculate. We really couldn't find a fault.

Absolutely stunning

We loved our stay here in this luxury lodge . High quality interiors and it really gives the wow factor as soon as you walk through the door . The outside space is fantastic and the covered hot tub was just perfect as we had bad weather during our stay and still was able to fully enjoy the hottub area it was lovely sat in there while pouring down with rain as we were fully covered ! I’ve already re booked to come back later in the year it was a fantastic place to stay .

Our stay at willow lodge

Location was lovely good for local amenities but only downside we only had one good night’s sleep out of four due to another lodge partying till gone 2oclock in the morning no one on sight to stop it from happening so really did spoil it for us the music was so loud we could hear it in our bedroom and the shouting and swearing it did say no loud noise after 10pm but nobody to police this rule hope this helps going forward
