Essential Quiet Escape

Get away for a quiet, essential connection with nature in enchanting and prestigious West Sedona.
Our beautiful, spacious family home away from home is situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with amazing views.
The location is tough to beat.
Walk 3 mins to Teacup trailhead.
Four grocery stores, restaurants and shops are a 15-minute walk away.
Create memories in comfort.

All the bedrooms have ceiling fans if you prefer not to run the air conditioning.
All the mattresses have been reported as comfortable.
The Main bedroom has a gas fireplace and TV. The ensuite bathroom is generous with a walk-in closet.
The two bedrooms at the other end of the rancher both have a queen bed and a trundle bed, allowing two single guests to sleep comfortably in addition to the queens in each room.
The 2nd bathroom is newly renovated and has a door dividing the sinks, shower/tub, and toilet area.
The 4th room is an office/media room with a TV and a pull-out couch with a new full-foam mattress. There is also a single bed in this room.
Bedside lamps have USB ports for convenience.
We have an ottoman on wheels in the living area that pulls out into a twin.
The living room has a gas fireplace, TV, and a comfortable luxury leather reclining sectional couch.
The dining room table has two extensions and can sit up to 12 easily.
The Kitchen has new large appliances plus a coffee maker, bodem, coffee grinder, electric kettle, juicer, Nutri bullet blender and Instapot. Soft water and reverse osmosis drinking water. Oh yeah!
The washer and dryer are extra large and new.
The double garage allows for safe bike storage; if you are a mountain biker like us, you might be interested in the bike stand and the garden hose.
Outside the patio are a BBQ and (beer) fridge, plenty of seating and a sectional with an excellent table for card games. There is a good space for outdoor yoga; we supply two yoga mats and one roller. It is a private backyard because no one has yet built on the lots behind our home.
We also supply a high chair, booster seat, playpen, baby bath and toys for little ones.

Great stay in West Sedona!We stayed for a month and worked remotely — the home was spotless, stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to both hiking trails and shops. The two desks with monitors and strong internet made remote work easy for both of us. The backyard was peaceful with comfortable seating, beautiful views, and dog friendly. Hillary and John were wonderful. We plan to rent again for future trips.

This property was ideal in every way. The house was spacious and very comfortable, and well stocked with all necessary amenities.The location is perfect as you have stunning red rock mountain views in every direction, and are minutes to wonderful hiking trails with no need to get in the car, and shopping and dining are just a short drive away.Our dog enjoyed the spacious enclosed backyard, and the neighbourhood was a friendly and quiet place to walk the dog.If we have the opportunity to return to Sedona we would definitely stay here again.

My parents, husband and I travelled to Sedona for the first time, and we could not have had a better location. During our stay we ventured out to the Grand Canyon South Rim, Holy Cross Cathedral, West rim, along with some other neighboring towns. Every day on our return we were complimenting the views, privacy, home amenities, and serenity that welcomed us.. the vacation home was beyond fantastic! My husband and I plan to return ourselves, and even though it is much larger than needed, we anticipate going back to Hilary & John's home in light of what we've experienced. Truly the perfect house for a large family in Sedona

Hillary and John were wonderful hosts. The check in process was smooth. They were very responsive with any communication via text or the Vrbo app. The home was amazing. So much charm and amenities. The view or the red rocks in the back yard is stunning. Not too far from the center of Sedona. But close enough to drop our teenagers off for an afternoon and get them later. Close to groceries and restaurants in west Sedona. Really I can’t say enough about this house. There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 teens). And we had enough room to relax and eat.

This home is in an excellent location, very close to many of the popular hiking trails, restaurants and markets. The home is well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Our family does a yearly get together after Christmas.We couldn’t gather at my home because, I am working in Sedona this year. So, we rented this property. It was a great space for 10 adults to hang out, eat, drink and be merry. It’s the best place we’ve stayed in our 3 visits to Sedona. Very spacious beautiful home in a great location close to everything with great hosts. The backyard has a grassy area for our little doggies to run around. You can also relax outside on the lounge chairs and star gaze all night. I would definitely want to come back here on my next visit to Sedona. It’s the perfect home away from home.
