The bed was fantastic and the location can't be beat. However, the shower handle was broken, thankfully I could still use the water. It was disappointing that the restaurant was open, but I totally understand and I'm not dinging them at all for that
Very clean and nice staff and nice quiet rooms.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Wondering if all these 5 star reviews were paid for. $400/night to stay at an empty hotel with no room service, no room cleaning, nothing. VERY overpriced. They should lower the rates during COVID-19 and disclose the lack of amenities BEFORE you book the room NOT after.
The room was designed for younger clientele. The bed, sofa were all low to the ground. A stool was provided. Not a single chair w/in the room.
Great little touches here and there. We were there just prior to xmas, so there were holiday movies playing in the lobby, a cocoa bar, the usual wine happy hour was great, sharp and friendly staff. And the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Very much hoping to come back soon!
Was a wonderful stay with helpful and friendly staff.
Downtown hotel, low key Excellent restaurant/bar Easy to deal with
The staff was great, and the hotel was in walking distance of the symphony, the Fish Market, excellent restaurants -- and a couple of Starbucks. The free coffee served in the lobby in the a.m. was what another guest called "pee coffee." It was horrible (one sip and you knew), and that's why we didn't want to eat at the hotel restaurant when Cheyanne (sp?) told us it was the same coffee. Other than that, we would stay at the Alexis again.
Safe, secure, allowing one to quietly relax in this ever busy world, even little fiddo .
That place is in the heart of the city , surrounded by some of the best places for shopping, eating, and gorgeous view just a few minutes away.and If your planning a wedding, I would look in to what they have to offer...
Tried to take a bath and the water was lukewarm at best and the drain was very slow. Alerted staff and they sort of fixed it, but it wasn't really a hot bath the second time around.
The Kimpton Alexis in Seatlle totally exceeded expectations. Very unique little place with huge, artistically hip rooms. Nice to have a bar downstairs for drinks and food. Room Service prices were WAY over the top high. Avoid at all costs!!!
Love Kimpton hotels, very well located walking distance to the water and Pike's place. Would stay again
We booked a queen room, but I swear this bed was more like a double than a queen since we sleep on a queen at home! I enjoyed the art work that was included in the room, but found the room itself to be cramped around the bed itself. One wrong move and your knee or shin will end up on the corner of the bed frame or the corner of the TV unit. There were no lights in the room that lite up the room brightly. There were three table lamps, diffused ceiling lights, and a small row of lights by the TV.
Hotel staff was great: they sent up a pot of tea when I arrived late night; stored bags no fuss. Hot cocoa treat in lobby on cold rainy Seattle afternoon. Prime location few blocks from Pike Market but quiet. Large well appointed room. Bookstore Cafe large selection of scotch and yummy breakfast.

Graham, certainly disappointed to read that your stay was less than you expected. The state mandated guidelines for operating a hotel/restaurant or outlet are pretty tough, but the team here will do anything we can to make your stay special. Come back soon and we will make it super special
thanks so much Anon - look forward to having you back soon.
