Lovely place!

The home was beautiful and in such a great location. I would recommend adding blankets on the couch. When watching tv, this is important to us.

Alki Beach House

I always like to lead with positive comments. I loved the location! The house was big so we weren’t on top of each other. It was very sunny and cheerful! Easy to get in and out of! Definitely had charm! The things we were very disappointed in were the cleanliness, the floors didn’t look swept, crumbs and popcorn from last guest. Hair on shower walls. Dust on some of the furniture but not all. I had pink mold growing on my shower curtain liner. The mirrors weren’t clean. And some of the linen had stains and questionable cleanliness. Cleanliness is a #1 quality for me but it wasn’t there. Also, we had very little toilet paper and paper towels. My friend had no to in her bathroom. We had a 1/4 of a role of paper towels. When I contacted Vacasa. They recommended we buy our on. That is simple basic necessities. Not happy about that. My recommendations to you are to clean better and have the basics for your guests. There were no wash clothes either. One more suggestion is that the dining room chairs were very uncomfortable and so was the leather couch.

Best Rental We've Ever Stayed At!

This is a beautiful house with views of the water and quick access to the Alki beach area. The house was immaculate and spacious. Our children had fun claiming their bedrooms and running up and down the stairs. There were so many extras in this home: tons of board games, a record/radio player and a working fireplace in the dining room. Whenever we return to the Seattle area, we will definitely be staying here.

Family vacation

The location is great. Away from downtown, pretty, and safe. House is great with lots of space. Cookware isn’t in great shape but anything we needed was there. There were only four bath towels in a home that sleeps 8. Seems to be frequent issue based on other reviews. Electrical outlets near beds won’t hold a plug. Will need to plug phone charges in elsewhere. Great communication with rental company. Shower grout had spots of mildew. Overall a good property.

Dad's Memorial service

Downstairs shower doesn't work, handle pulls off. Upstairs shower is mist only.It would be nice to have a recycle bin inside home.The home and location work great.Thanks.

Alki Beach House

This unit is big and provides enough space for people to get some privacy if needed. It is located within striking distance of all the West Seattle restaurants without being on the "strip" and subject to the all the vehicle and people noise. It is within a minute walk to the beach and has everything you need in house. I will stay here again for sure.

Sketch guys smoking weed had stuff in our rental

Nice property. Horrible checkin and communication with rental company. Got owners number from neighbor and contacted direct. Very uncomfortable since other peoples belongings were still the house and they showed up smoking weed, very sketchy men.

Nice area but house needs some updating

We had a cruise that got canceled last minute so we booked this last minute. It was located well with lots of restaurants close enough and a short walk to the beach area. The house was clean but outdated. Not trying to be mean but it looks like it was a old persons home that had maybe passed and they just turned it into a rental home and left most of the things there. There were lot of things that didn’t work. Ie; hot tub, windows didn’t opened, some outlets in bathroom didn’t work. Tile in the downstairs bathroom was caving in. (We reported it to the owner) There were no kitchen towels, no basic condiments and no pitcher to make drinks like tea. Fresh towels for each room were folded in laundry area and still wet. It got warm at night and while we expected no AC we couldn’t open windows so it got extra warm. There was a door to a balcony on main floor and upper level that we could open but didn’t want to leave it open at night. The coded lock on the door was tricky to figure out. We had to contact the owner several times and they were quick to respond. We could find nothing in the house written down for instructions on things that we needed to do before leaving. I contacted owner and asked but they responded and said it was fine. We didn’t strip beds because we didn’t know. We did do basic cleaning, trash take out, ran the dishwasher. Seems owner lives out of town and manager isn’t up to par. It was a great location and beds were comfortable. Needs updating.

Long wedding weekend

Only used the place to sleep and shower but it was walking distance to other family staying in the area for a wedding. Love Alki Beach. Only wish we could have used the hot tub and that it had a Nespresso coffee machine.

Alki beach house

Nice large house just .5 miles from the sand. Lots of stairs. Two balconies. Kitchen fully stocked with gear. There were 6 of us that stayed here, but only 7 towels for 5 days. They do have a nice new washer/dryer and dishwasher. We would stay here again. No air conditioning.

Great location and non-responsive to problem

The location for this property is wonderful, even in the winter. You are across the street from the beach in a nice neighborhood. This was a spacious property and it was quiet (during the winter, don't know about summer). I had one issue that left a very bad taste in my mouth. The dishwasher did not work and this was over Christmas when we had a lot of dishes. I called the VRBO line and they told me that someone would get back to me. No one ever contacted me. I believe it was also broken for the former occupant because the soap pod was in the dishwasher, which indicates to me that someone got it loaded, put the soap in and found out it didn't work. We paid a significant amount for this property for 4 days. I contacted the owner and asked for a small refund for a non working dishwasher. I did not ever receive a response. Not happy with the owner or VRBO on this one. We left all of the dishes clean and put away.

Epic Birthday Weekend

Our family visited Seattle to celebrate my brothers 50th birthday. The neighborhood and location was perfect as he and his wife live nearby. We all enjoyed the proximity to Alki Beach for early morning walks. Plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. We would definitely recommend this rental to other families.

Great house but it so clean and no supplies

The property is fantastic and close to restaurants and the beach. There is enough bedrooms and baths. When we arrived for our 5 days, bedding was not clean and there were no trash bags, minimal toilet paper , no kitchen towels and one roll of paper towels. Washing machine was not working properly so I could not even remedy the towels and bedding issue. There were no accessible extra sheets or towels. We made calls with only a response on second call was addressed. The first call some how was canceled. We were very frustrated. The washing machine was still not functioning and the cleaning team started to put wet sheets on the beds. I don’t believe that they were washed properly but we concentrated on my sons wedding and not the dirty sheets.

Great West Seattle Location!

This beach house was in a great West Seattle location just steps away from Alki Beach and close to many local restaurants and a short trip away from the water taxi to downtown! Super quiet neighborhood with many friendly locals out enjoying walks with their dogs or riding their bikes.
