B&B Hotel Schwerin - the first and last visit.

Beware: you will be charged an additional city tax at check-in... this is not included or shown in the Hotels.com price. This is the ONLY hotel I've known to do this and it is borderline dishonest that this is not shown as 'to be paid at the hotel'. The room is small - if you have more than one item of luggage you will struggle. Room door fits badly - gap underneath - so you hear everyone in the corridor (and even in other rooms). No lift to first floor - you will have to lug your suitcase up the stairs. Bed comfortable and bathroom clean. Good bus service (takes 25mins to city) and not too far (20min walk) from Schwerin Gorries station. Check-in is strictly after 3pm. I won't be making a return visit!

Ausreichend Parkplätze vor Ort, dieser allerdings sehr ungepflegt. Hotel ohne Fahrstuhl, bitte beachten. Aufgrund der momentanen Baustelle ging der Autoverkehr am Fenster des Zimmers vorbei. Dadurch war es recht laut. Im Normalfall sicher besser. Sehr lange Wege bis zur Innenstadt und Autobahn. Das hatte ich nicht bedacht. Dadurch waren meine Erwartungshaltungen nicht erfüllt. Das ist aber eher mein Verschulden. Personal am Empfang war supernett. Die Zimmer sehr sauber und auch nur bei Bedarf Zimmerreinigung, was ich sehr angenehm finde. Die Garderobe hängt sehr ungünstig. Ich habe mehrfach die Badtür dagegegen geschlagen. Für zwei Menschen ist das Zimmer eher beengt und auch nur eine begrenzte Platzauswahl zum Depot für die Anziehsachen vorhanden.

Supergreit B&B på gjennomreise i Tyskland. Ankom sent, kjapp og grei innsjekk til fine og rene rom. Gode senger, god frokost, veldig grei parkering rett utenfor. Alt du trenger når du bare skal sove, spise frokost og dra videre!

It was quite nice stay. Personal and cleaning stuff did all a good job. Location is ok, quiet but a bit far off City. A problem to me was that I got no real Non-smoking room. Outside at window (roof) was full of remains of cigarettes! I directly send complaint to BB Hotels. That's some for me which is inacceptable.
