Hipster in the woods!

The hosts were spectacular. Always available and helpful. Place absolutely Georgeous with much character. Walking trail and river at the base of the property and a couple of eateries / drinkeries in short walking distances. When back to Chapel Hill, I will stay here again!

We loved staying at the loft. Perfect location and amenities. Great hike on the river steps from the home. Amazing food. They’ve thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Four stars!!!

Perfect getaway

What an amazingly decorated and cozy atmosphere to enjoy a quick getaway. Everything you need is within a short walk including farm fresh breakfast and lunch that General Store, inviting host at the art/gift store and dinner at The Eddy. The host is very responsive and provided great communication about what to do and where to go. The trail winding next to the river makes for a great way to get out into nature and walk off all the delicious eats! We will definitely be back!

Amazing host

Booked this originally as a brief getaway for just my wife. After some unforseen events at our house, Tom was fantastic about helping to adjust the stay and accommodating our whole family. Routine check ins to make sure everyone was doing well and making suggestions about the area for keeping the little ones occupied. Amazing property on top of it with quiet community within walking to shops, restaurants, coffee and a brewery.

Charming stay

Wonderful place and great location in Saxapahaw. Walk to everything, including the trail along the river. Tom was very attentive & cared about us having a good stay & time in the town. A gem of a place…didn’t want to leave!

Complete Charm!

Tom and Collette were excellent hosts and this stylish loft perfect for a getaway. Everything is nearby but I loved staying in the flat! Very quiet, very safe for female travelers who are going alone. Neighborhood very friendly but non-invasive. Lots of activities and music within five minutes of walking but no noise in the apartment.

AMAZING!!!

We were in town to visit a friend, and found this listing. The loft was so unique and inviting, as was the surrounding area. We loved staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. You can't go wrong booking this place for your stay!

Five Star Stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cool little loft! It had everything and more that we could need! Saxapahaw is super cool and we enjoyed eating and drinking at the general store and brewery. Our host was super responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay.

Everything was even better than expected. It was so comfortable and stylish with many extras. The bed & pillows were comfortable and we slept late me babies. Everything we needed was in walking distance. We hiked, watched river go by and relaxed. We ate at the Eddy & General Store & the food was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Historic Loft Stay

We frequently use VRBO and this was one of our favorite residences! Always wanted to stay in an historic loft property. This did not disappoint. Pristine condition, trendy but comfortable. Owner is attentive to detail and promptly accessible. Beautiful setting with walking trails along the river. Comfort, scenery, history and accessibility. Will definitely return.

Saxapahaw N.C. , Haw River Ballroom Wedding trip

This was the perfect weekend home for my wife and my two grandchildren to stay in during a recent trip to Saxapahaw to celebrate a wedding in the Haw River Ballroom next door . The property is extremely charming , well outfitted , and well landscaped .
