Wonderful Place

This is one of the most memorable vacations we have had. Our carriage house apartment was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and walkable to everything we did in Savannah, and we did a lot!! Our hosts, Kristin and Randy were very kind, with lots of helpful tips, and in general, very nice people. Book your Savannah stay here, you won’t regret it!

Cute, Comfortable, Quiet and Close to Everything.

We loved the Carriage House! So charming and close to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet area. Cute courtyard area with table. Communication with owners/managers was great. Bed was comfortable (although there's a bit of a squeak to the frame that might need adjusting). Parking on street available & easy to navigate. Bathroom a bit small but was just fine. Kitchen was functional and very handy to have a working ice maker! (please add a baking/cooking sheet to the supplies). Really great place. Would stay again for sure! Had an awesome time. Thank you!

Amazing little cottage

Great location. Clean and exactly what we needed. The only issues were the beds. The king bed mattress was great, but frame squeaked at lot. May just need to be tightened up. Sleeper sofa was uncomfortable and we ended up pulling the mattress into the floor and it slept much better. Owners were there. Very sweet and helpful. Would stay again.

Perfect couples getaway.

My wife loved this place, as did I. It was tucked down a small, well kept alley - a hidden little getaway. To park on the curb it was a dollar an hour but paying was only required 8am to 8pm mon-sat. There were always several spots open. The bathroom is slightly dated but in great shape. We really didn't need the kitchen, washer and dryer but they were nice to have in case we needed them. Nothing was unclean but the blinds in the bathroom were a little worse for wear and could use replacing but that's minor. The location was perfect for everything we were doing and the free loop bus route was a 4 minute walk away. Texts from the management company came through cut short every time but they also came as emails which weren't but the truncated texts were slightly annoying. I would 100% stay here again if I found myself back in Savannah.

Amazing Property

Loved this place. Would rate higher if possible. Great location, clean A++, quiet. Everything you need inside the place. Furnishings were super nice. Loved this place. We are coming back for sure.

Quite, homey, and perfect for our stay

The property is snug, and we were aware when we booked - we planned to be out most of the time so it was perfect for us. We had one or two things that needed attention during our stay and everyone (including the owners that are just across the way) was very helpful and friendly.

Quaint, Clean, perfect spot

The unit was small, but clean and quaint. Perfect for exploring historic downtown Savannah. The issues with parking can be frustrating, but certainly not a deal breaker.

We arrived at the cottage and were unable to access gate. After talking to office personnel we were told lock was installed wrong. After a long drive and then having to wait for maintenance put a damper on our vacation. When maintenance arrived they had no prior work order. This issue should have been addressed before our arrival. We then were confronted with a flight of stairs, listing showed no stairs. My husband recently had surgery. Hopefully these issues are addressed as this is a cute place and great location.

Nice place, but a few small tweaks would make much better

Very cute and comfortable apartment in a great location in Savannah. Easy walk to most locations you will want to visit. The few tweaks I recommend: 1) Address of apartment that they lead with is Perry LANE. That's a helpful address if you are going to mail yourself a letter. The ACCESS to the apartment is on Perry STREET. It took longer than it should have to find the place because embedded in the directions is the STREET address. After our driver driving up and down Perry LANE and finally getting out in the rain at 10:00pm at night and walking around we finally figured out what we were doing wrong. A little language change could make a big difference in the checkin process. 2) The property description talks about a fully furnished kitchen and even mentions a coffee maker. I have stayed in VRBOs all over the world and I cannot think of an instance where at least a starter amount of coffee and sweetener wasn't provided. When I asked about it I was told to go to CVS. Simply providing a cup of coffee grounds in a sealed container and a few packets of stevia would go a long way to making a good apartment great. You might throw in a tea bag or two for the tea drinkers ;) There is also full sized washer/dryer provided, but no detergent. A couple of pods would be nice 3) I graded down on cleanliness because there was quite a bit of black hair on the bathroom floor.I mentally comforted myself by assuming it was the housekeepers hair and that it was clean hair on a clean floor.

SPOTLESS CLASSY STAY!

This property is just as it seems in the pictures. No surprises or shockers that I got bamboozled. The unit was spotless and the bed was perfection. The sheets and towels were excellent quality and the floors were TRULY clean. I would go out of my way to stay at this unit again! Communication with the property manager was the best I have ever experienced!

Cozy and Convenient

I cannot say enough good about this spot! It is secure, comfortable, and convenient to historic downtown and Forsyth. Very walkable location and street parking in close proximity was always available during our stay. We ended up checking out the pool out on Tybee (included access when you stay here) one day and it was also and excellent and walkable from the beach. We also ended up meeting the owners and they were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Great weekender

It was a great weekend getaway. Private with a great location to all museums within walking distance. Water was nice and hot! Nice king size bed. Plenty of plates, dishes, bowls and glasses, and other small appliances. Lacking on pots and cookie sheets. Only place to eat was at the breakfast bar. Parking was tricky if you didn't want to pay to park. Overall very nice experience.

Great place to stay, perfect location and the property management staff was super helpful!!

I recommend this place to anyone wanting to be within walking distance of the river front and all the sights and stores. The rental staff is very responsive and able to help out quickly. The pool is a nice extra and puts you at the beach after a nice swim. Thanks!!

We’ve stayed in dozens of properties in Savannah and this was by far the nicest. It was spotless, in a great area, and had everything we needed. Parking is on street but the daily rate was only 12 dollars and was right out front. The apartment is adorable!

Quaint, cozy, and immaculately clean

Quaint and cozy carriage house in the Historic District. Easy half mile walk to the the hustle and bustle near the river, but there are plenty of eateries and coffee shops close by as well. Super safe and beautiful neighborhood for walking and exploring. We loved the carriage house and highly recommend it.
