I paid more for my room as comapred to our friends room. Cos it stated in the tittle "Sea View".. My buddy's room was just next to mine also with pratically the same sea view.. The room balcony or windows did not even open up the sea "view". Other than that it was OK,I justi could have saved me a couple of moola's $$..

Amazing stay at Cabana Lipe beach resort

Amazing! Great straff, beach, hotel, beds and breakfast! The straff is so helpfull and the rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful- we got it served on the balcony every morning at choosen time.

The room and grounds were on the small side but everything was clean and worked. However, the biggest problem was that the hotel tends to OVERBOOK seaview rooms... I got a partial sea view room when I had booked a full seaview one (the booking page on Expedia doesn’t offer a category of “partial seaview”), and I saw other guests being denied seaview rooms upon checkin despite their reservation printout explicitly showing so. Therefore, book with caution.

Very ggo location on the beach

The staff at the hotel are very friendly. The location is excellent on the beach. The breakfast is very nice, big variety. It is a very comfortable clean room. Overall a great hotel to book.

Nice breakfasts, excellent tropical fish.

Good hotel, excellent breakfast served on our balcony. The beach is also a harbour for over 100 longtail boats which continually service the island. They are a real hazard for swimming and snorkelling. Plenty of tropical fish to see. Access to hotel is via a street of shacks surrounded by rubbish, this would put some travellers off. However I think most of the island I see like this with high quality beachfront hotels, hemmed in by local shacks and very bad condition housing. Overall the island needs management of its development which currently seems to have little direction.

There is a mosquito on the last night. Suggest the resort to have mosquito repellent inside the room. Also, the way out to the main road is quite dark. Overall a good stay.

The stuff dreams are made of!

I think this could be the best choice in Koh Lipe. Our room was a couple of meters from the beautiful clear water. It is located on the quiet side of Koh lipe. The staff picked us up in a shiny Tuk Tuk and delivered us to a perfect beachfront room. We were given a welcome drink and a lovely smile and were left in our room where we were served breakfast every morning. Koh lipe itself is my favourite island in Thailand because it is quiet and has a beautiful reef to the east of Lipe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Koh lipe.
