Best House Ever
The house is amazing, The amenities exceed our expectations. The kitchen is FULLY equipped, washer/dryer, body soap, shampoo, hair dryers, beach toys to name a few. Beautiful view, close to the beach. Father Rosters is an excellent place to go for drinks and food. Very relaxing, the pool is wonderful.

Luxury home nestled in a tropical forest!
A perfectly secluded home! Other homes dot the hillsides, but the only noise you’ll hear are monkeys and exotic birds. The beach is a short, winding drive. Walkable, if you don’t mind a steep slope. Built into a forested hillside, the home itself is pure relaxation. Views of the ocean and lush hills are visible from the infinity pool and 2-tier veranda. My oasis was the side veranda with the ocean in front and jungle behind, relishing the sun-basking iguanas, curious birds and jungle sounds. Inside the home is gorgeous! A staircase to the upper floor climbs along soaring windows overlooking the sea. The walls showcase local artist creations. Comfy seating affords an ocean view and a well-stocked game table offers family fun. The kitchen has all you need and then some, plus an espresso machine, coffee maker and kettle. The dining table is perfect in case you opt to have a private chef cook for you. A 1/2 bath, laundry room and beach equipment are a big bonus. The owners provide so many thoughtful touches, from sunscreen to a bird watching scope. 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms open onto an ocean view veranda; all offer a private bath. The main floor primary suite is huge with sliding doors to the pool, a walk-in closet and storage galore. The bath features double sinks, jetted tub and separate shower. The water pressure is fantastic! Each bath has shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Between that and the washer/dryer, you can really pack light! We will happily return!

We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Ocotal; Great location, close to great restaurants and activities. Really enjoyed La Leona hike; the Blown Away Catamaran and Diamante Eco Adventure Park.

Nirvana - Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
This rental property is amazing in so many ways. We have done a lot of traveling and this house is now at the top of our list. Spectacular views from inside and outside of the house. Amazing privacy from other houses. We really liked the fact that each bedroom had a full bathroom – made it easy for showering. The house also comes with amazing amenities (pool, beach supplies, all necessary kitchen utensils, washer/dryer, and so much more. The house and the ground are immaculate. The pool was one of our favorite spots – make sure you take a night swim. The house is near the beaches and town. We really enjoyed going to the Father Roster Restaurant at the bottom of the hill (it became our local). The restaurant is located on the beach. The property management company for this property was top notch – the best we have experienced. Great communication and went out of their way to make sure we had a hassle-free vacation. Besides managing the property, they can assist in setting up all your excursions. We took advantage of that service, and it was outstanding. These excursions were affordable and of outstanding quality. Upon our arrival the management company met us and took us to the property. They also responded to any questions and inquiries within 5 minutes. We are looking forward to our next trip and have started recommending this location to family and friends.

A little bit of paradise
Beat my expectations. This was a secluded house on a hill overlooking the bay. I think the perfect balance between being high enough on the hill for the view, but still able to walk to the beach (but honestly, we drove half the time). Pool was fantastic. Heard more monkeys than people. Snorkeling at the beach was way cool, the water very clear and the marine life around the rocks was very varied. No complaints. I plan to return.

Wonderful Stay at Casa Fredrick
The location is totally private and relaxing and close to a beautiful black sand beach. We took many trips to this beach where we caught beautiful sunsets, snorkled and enjoyed a local beach bar (Father Rooster). The ceviche was outstanding!
When we were not out enjoying all the wonderful activities Costa Rica has to offer we spend many hours in and around an exceptional pool where we laugh, played games and enjoyed the view of the ocean/bay/and islands.
As for the rest of the house it had all the amenities including a great kitchen (where for some reason I did most of the cooking...lol).
The most important complement I'd make about this rental is...
I WILL BE COMING BACK!!!
