Enjoyed our stay. The space was not new, but cozy and nice, and in overall good condition and we greatly appreciated being able to bring our dogs. I was slightly dismayed the sauna was not easily operated and we lost a day and a half of use awaiting instructions for how to get it to heat up. The owner or property manager was very communicative and attentive, but was not able to dig up instructions very quickly. In my opinion, instructions should be posted at the house or near the sauna itself. It was very simple to operate once you knew what the clicks meant and where to set the dial to hear up without delay. The hot tub was heavenly!

Nice privacy, clean house, only downside is the road to the property and drive way are tight, big vehicles have difficulty turning around. Great experience though. Will certainly be back

Great time

Our stay for our niece’s wedding was perfect. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The house was clean and so beautiful. The hot tub was our favorite part. What a wonderful place!! Thank you!!

Large house

The house was huge for a vacation and offered many amenities. There is a large dog owned by the neighbor that is barely visible and never got loose but was quite loud. Overall it was a great summertime getaway and we loved it.

Great property!

This place was perfect for our family of four + dog. The place had more bedrooms than we needed but we enjoyed the extra space to spread out :) The hot tub and sauna were added after we booked - what a bonus! The place had everything we needed and then some, including all the cooking supplies, extra bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, even a reverse osmosis water filter like we have at home. We were super close to Gorges State Park, as well as Sapphire and Cashiers. An easy, scenic drive to many waterfalls and great dining spots. Communication with the property manager was excellent. 10/10 we would stay here again! Thanks for having us!

Great location to Gorges State Park

Upon arrival the Wed. Before thanksgiving we noticed overflowing trash in cans and scattered all over the property. Then as we toured the home down on bottom level the sliding glass door panel was shattered. I felt that was very dangerous. I called the property manager 2x to report. She was very kind but the trash wasn’t addressed until Friday and the glass door never was. Besides these 2 issues all else was as pictured and described. Love the hot tub and that they allow dogs. The neighbor has a dog that barks all hrs of the night, it is very disruptive however, thats not the property managers fault.

We did not have the best experience. When we arrived there was trash everywhere in the driveway. I immediately called to report the issue to the company that is running this property at 4:30pm on Saturday. It was not picked up until 2pm on Monday. The trash was not taken at that point and not picked up on the Thursday trash day. We had to deal woth others trash pur entire vacation and it kept drawing in a bear that would knock the cans over daily. The grass was knee high everywhere. With the bear and grass issues, we did not get to enjoy the porch or the yard. In the dining room, only 2 light bulbs were working. Worst experience I've ever had staying at a VRBO booked property.

Unfortunately, this home is not listed as pictured or described. Immediately upon entering there was a smell of mold/mildew and general look of uncleanliness, as there were cobwebs in nearly every corner of every room. Every dish we pulled out of the cabinet was dirty, making the lack of a dishwasher all the more obvious. The owners were responsive to our contacts and sent a cleaner out to remove the mold on the window a/c unit. However, that did not resolve the issue, but it did make it a little less visually noticeable. Furthermore, there is a need for maintenance that a quick cleaning cannot solve. From the damaged armchair in the main living space, drywall patch in the basement, and exterior door with a patched hole where the doorknob sat previously, this place feels more like a party pad for college kids than a comfortable family getaway. There were knobs missing on several of the lamps and the propane fire table out on the porch, which I would’ve liked to use, but to be honest the exterior cameras made me feel uncomfortable because they were only placed on the back porch areas such as the hot tub and sauna rather than the driveway/main entrance. If this place were more affordable, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Not worth the money, the only plus side is the location is near some good food/hiking spots.
