Great Villa But Bad Communication and Cleanliness!
So I'm gonna give this a mixed review. The villa itself is gorgeous. It has a backyard with lawn, in-ground swimming pool, poolside lounge chair, poolside dining tables and chairs, 3 queen-size beds that sleeps 6 people, a 2nd floor loft/sitting area with rooftop terrace, master bedroom with jet spray jacuzzi (which was the highlight). the rooms were rather spacious and each bedroom had a bathroom en suite except for the ground floor bedroom, which had an adjacent bathroom.
After stating the above, the following were the downsides and negatives, which were significant in my opinion: 1. mold and mildew in the bathroom ceilings (very disgusting) 2. no functioning wifi internet (even though the password is written and provided) 3. the swimming pool was completely nasty and dirty (water was not cleaned or filtered for quite awhile, but not a factor since we came in the colder season - but needs to be completely cleaned and serviced for the summer months) 4. no door knob on the master bedroom door from the inside (can get locked in, unable to open) 5. generally not cleaned or serviced before we got there (a bit dusty and dingy all around) 6. overall the quality of the materials of the house were poor (door frames had come off, sliding patio doors not working so well, cracks in the mirrors, outside patio furniture quite dusty (we had to wipe it down ourselves to use). BUT THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I HAD was that we were unable to reach the property to arrange key pickup.
