Very practical, great location (bars, restaurants, supermarkets nearby), staff extremely helpful, courteous, professional. Didn't have a single problem - on the contrary - over a week-long stay. Breakfast is excellent and restaurant staff especially kind, warm, accommodating. Their manager, Mr Antonio (Toninho) is totally on the ball and so incredibly nice. Will return every time I stay in Sao Paulo.
This Mercure is perfect for the business traveler staying a night or two. However, the rooms are small for couples staying longer than a few days. Limited storage and closet space, no place to open suitcases, very limited space for toiletries in the bathroom. Making matters worse most of the staff do not speak English, making the simplist request an issue. Some staff members just hang up the phone when they hear an English speaker on the other end, However, those staff members that do speak English are extremely helpful and willing to assist.
The Mercure is nothing fancy, but it is in a nice neighborhood in São Paulo. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a small kitchen with sink, fridge, and microwave which was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay, very Brazilian, without a lot of options. My keycard kept becoming unmagnetized so I had to go several times to the desk to get it redone. Overall good stay, but could use some updates. Good value.
Great hotel. I stay there every time I go to São Paulo! 10min for Clínicas subway station, great staff and very comfortable rooms. The reason I'm taking one star this time is that I've never noticed before how dangerous the shower boxes are. There is a slippery floor with no place to hold yourself. If you slip, will be an accident for granted!
Was in the Mercure because of a Congress fee minutes away in CRQ. Rooms are big and nice, bath ok, breakfast good for a standard hotel. Location good, walking distance to restaurants and bars. Checkin and out took too long, even with Online checkin. Okay for a few nights.
I've stayed at this hotel before when in São Paulo on business and despite my overall average rating may well stay there again just because of its proximity to where I need to be when in São Paulo and because it is an Accor Hotel, but it is frustrating in several ways. Here are some things that need attention: 1. Each time I had cause to be at reception; check-in, ask a question, get the room key just given to me to work, change rooms as the one first allocated was the complete opposite to my Accor Platinum membership profile, check-out; there was always only ever one, very slow, attendee. 2. Put cutlery in the empty cutlery container in the room. 3. Replace used toiletries in the room daily. Note: this never happened with my last stay without asking either. 4. Take note of Accor member profiles and don't allocate members a room directly outside of the lifts when the specific profile request is to be away from the lifts.
That place requires maintenance in several areas. Rooms are OK but smaller than in other Mercures in São Paulo for the same price. Gym is nice, pool was under maintenance. Breakfast room is way too small given the number of rooms. Elevator door guides and panels are dirty, doors must be jamming a lot. Checkout took 15 minutes and I have not received the Brazilian 'Nota Fiscal' after sending one email, will have to send again. It has been the second time that I stayed in that Mercure but sorry, I'll stay at other Mercures next time.
Sorry to say but the hotel is not 4stars but rather 2 at the best Small living room cramped bathroom and picolino bed room Hotel food is not good too salty Very noisy. People live outdoors gete till 2 am so opeb windows are not ab option and the airco is terrible
I have been recently to Sao Paulo and decided to stay here because they have a check-in earlier than most of the hotels in the area. Check-in starts at 12 so it was the best solution for me because I had to work a couple of hours before heading to the center. The hotel is in a good area not very far from Avenida Paulista. I booked an apartment with small kitchinette and I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the amenities were all functioning. The only downside was the reception staff which did not speak English but speaks Spanish. I highly recommend this hotel.
I was here for 4 days. Hotel is good with drawing room and kind of small kitchen and bed room. Nice design with very good view of the city as I was on the 20th floor. Hotel staff is not too much friendly and does not speak English well specially the support staff does not speak English at all. Breakfast is very good and they have gym, sauna and I door pool. Neighborhood is good where you can find restaurants and coffee shops. They do not exchange foreign currency so if you are foreigner you need to exchange money yourself. There is a place near by 2 blocks. They don't provide shuttle service and Best way to come here is taking an Uber ride from GRU airport. The local fructose will take around 150 BRL which will be like 70USd if u exchange money at airport so call an Uber and you can be here in 70BRL max.
