This was an ideal place for us to stay with a small infant. The room was excellent and the staff, lovely. One thing i would have preferred is if there wasnt such bright light bulbs. It was very harsh and gave no ambient lighting so was hard to get baby to sleep even with just one lamp light on.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I was able to explore the area easily and enjoy all that it had to offer. Great place, perfect location

Overall, a great experience, as someone would expect from any Mercure hotel. The only downside was the kettle in the room. It wasn't working and they didn't fix it after I mentioned about the problem. The best part here is the location. You're a stone throw from Japan House, Itaú Cultural, SESC (all culture-based places). Paulista Avenue is the main road in the city, bringing together many shopping centres, cafés, department stores and the best connection via underground to most of the city centre.

I am sad to say that the Mercure Sao Paolo Grand Plaza Paulista is the worst hotel I have stayed in in decades. I booked a 4-star hotel but this hotel is no more than a 2-star hotel. The rooms are terrible.
