Great location, big room, very clean, nice staff.

I have tried many hotels in that section of town and this one seems to be the best all things considered. Biggest advantage: loads of restaurants in walking distance!

Checking in and out very efficient, very friendly (late check out at 2 was no problem at all). De location is excellent. The rooms are clean but a bit outdated. The fitness room/ pool/ spa looks great, but is rather small. Great hotel for a couple of days.

My favorite hotel in São Paulo today. Not as trendy as Fasano or Emiliano but still elegant, comfortable, small and with a great staff.

L'Hotel is my favorite hotel in São Paulo today. Staff is competent, polite and friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and the lobby is beautiful. The only thing they should improve is the bathroom. It is already outdated.

This is a modern hotel with an old-fashioned elegance to it. The furnishings have a 1960s vibe - but not a modernist 1960s vibe, if that makes sense. The bedroom was roomy enough for a weeklong stay, with a nice firm bed and a pair of flip-flops provided for me. Every night the turndown service left me candy and a weather report for the next day. It took me a couple of tries to get the TV sorted, but once I did it was great. My only complaints: the room came with only one chair. I would have liked to have had one at the desk and one at the table, and my window looked out onto a construction project. However, Sao Paulo seems to be one big construction project right now, so I think the latter was unavoidable. The bathroom was a compact version of my ideal bathroom, with a powerful shower head, a moveable makeup mirror and great L'Occitane toiletries. The housekeeping staff was great and even folded my clothes for me when I left them in a pile on the bed one day. I didn't expect that but I was sure delighted by it. The service was excellent - the staff spoke fluent English but was also willing to help me practice my scraps of Portuguese. One odd thing - I contacted the concierge desk a couple of times about salon services and they had some suggestions but did not seem to really know what salons were open that day, nor did they offer to make an appointment. This may be a US/Brazil cultural difference, however. The restaurant was solid. The breakfast buffet every morning offered up a wide array of breads, fruits and yogurts, and the staff also cooked up omelets to order. Some of the fruits were ones I'd never seen before, which gave me the chance to try new things. I had lunch there one day and dinner from room service another day, and both meals (lemon bow tie pasta / artichoke risotto) were outstanding, on a par with the better restaurants I dined at in Sao Paulo. The location is great, right off Avenida Paulista. It's close to MASP and a lot of shopping.

Excellent. The Staff were outstanding both at the door as well as inside the hotel! I took advantage of a massage at the spa inside the facility and after an hour, forgot what stress I had brought to the top floor. there is also a wet pool (small) and workout room if you choose. The location allows you both taxi as well as metro which is key for São Paulo . It's location on a side street made all my nights quiet and restful and I was guaranteed a clean room every time I returned. Buffet breakfast left nothing out. Shopping along Paulista or walk to the Jardim area in 15 minutes. Need a ride to the airport? You can cab it (save the money though), metro/bus, or what I would recommend is the Shuttle Bus that picks you up behind the hotel (stops at many of the hotels) for R$36. It's comfortable, air conditioned, takes a bit over an hour most days and gets you right there with little fuss. These reasons but paramount: the attentiveness of the staff makes this the reason it will be here that I stay from now on!

The staff and the service made this hotel stand out. Breakfast is good. The pool is small, but that is to be expected from a boutique hotel. The location is good. The metro station is about a 5-10 minute walk. Borders safe and trendy Jardins.
