This is a nice Holiday Inn with fairly good size rooms that are clean and comfortable. There is a buffet restaurant that we visited for breakfast (included in the room for about $9.50 everyday and one dinner. The breakfast gave us a great start to our days. The dinner was good but somewhat limited. The hotel is located by itself so you will need to use an Uber or grab a taxi to visit outside areas.
**A versão portuguesa está escrita em "Dica de Apartamento"** **The Portuguese version is written under "Dica de Apartamento"** My name is Maria Leticia and yesterday I was placed in HolidayInn by my airline (Avianca). I had suffered a heat stroke, 1st degree burns on my skin and almost lost consciousness. I was brought to the hospital/clinic at the airport where I was taken care of and then released a few hours later. Avianca booked me for the next flight back home to New York for the following day. I was then placed at Holiday Inn overnight. If you are looking for a hotel to stay in Sao Paulo, this is the one to go to! When I say that there was nothing but high-quality people, I mean it. Everyone was so attentive and willing to help with whatever I needed. It was very hard for me to walk the next morning because of my burns and multiple people noticed my discomfort and attended me immediately. One of the gentlemen put me in a wheelchair brought me to the restaurant to eat breakfast. there, the Captain of the Restaurant, Mr. Tixiera (i think that's how its spelled) had a women named Rejane stay with me the whole time. She took such great care of me and collected the food I wanted (buffet style dining) and brought it to me then continued looking for things I might have wanted/needed. She and I had a nice conversation about what she wanted to do in her future and what it was like in the US. I am only 19 years old but I tried to offer as much information as I could. She asked what had happened to me and how else could she help. Great people !! I should also mention that I was very embarrassed to begin with because I do not like attention to be brought to me in this kind of way (being in a wheelchair and in obvious pain). Mr. Tixiera made sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of. I did not have any sandals with me, only sneakers and I did not want to put them on because it was causing pain. I ended up walking around barefoot (again, super embarrassed). I went to eat lunch and next to the seat they sat me at were a pair of flip-flops. i never asked for them, i simply stated how embarrassed i was and they took care of it. The food was delicious, the environment was clean, the atmosphere was so positive, and the people were amazing! STAY HERE AT HOLIDAY INN IN SAO PAULO !!!
Not much to say. Just perfect. Those like me travelling fof business... this exactly what you look for... strategically located... big but silent... it has all you need for a real comfortable stay... and it is not far from Guarulhos
The staff are very friendly...as they are in most of São Paulo 😘 Accommodated my halting tries of Portuguese, and then my hasty retreat to English. However the building is just plain ugly, square...a Horrible Hunk of Cement (see pic). The hotel faces a major highway (see pic) that flows with heavy East to West traffic, 24/7. The hotel also has a has a gargantuan parking lot in front of it with...nothing in it but a patrol dog...apparently it's good for the events at the nearby stadium when they do happen. The internal quality of finishes is atrocious - the doors look like built in cupboards, quite unnerving at first. The door handle of my bathroom door actually came right off at first try😰 The cheap furniture inside and fake window panes finish off the really cheap and nasty offering by this Holiday Inn. The plasticy lining over the "real window" does very little to damp the constant noise of semis and cars constantly burrowing down the highway just 200m away. The carpets inside and outside rooms need serious redo...dirty, scary. The restaurant downstairs is terribly established with its long no-frills tables, and serves an offensive array of processed foods for breakfast (the sausages are actually upgraded processed meat), and a very limited offer for lunch and dinner...really poor quality but EXPENSIVE food. The highlight for breakfast though are the fresh squeeze juices...really good...that's all I had...with boiled eggs🙈... Another positive for the venue is that the hotel is quite central and has quick access to the highways in any direction - awesome for the business traveler (although São Paulo traffic is unforgiving either way) who doesn't care what type of place they're living in. Oh and did I mention the staff is awesome?! Really 5star...
Standard Holiday inn rooms, some stains on carpet, plus cigarette burns in non smoking rooms though... (msy be a lack of luck) But great service ! Very kind and helpful front desk attendants. Includes a free shuttle service to shopping mall, bus station, etc. Really worth it.
A hotel with good facilities, proper of a Holiday Inn, the same as you can find in another hotel of the same chain in the world. The reception staff were unfriendly, I attended twice the same lady, not smiling, unfriendly being that she is young, the room service staff does not speak English and little Spanish, it is difficult to communicate with them, it was definitely an experience Not so pleasant, it was good but not magnificent. Unlike the reception lady, the employees of all the staff, are friendly and go out of their way to help you.
The hotel is located closed to a very popular trade-show site in Sao Paulo, Parque Anhembi. If you travel to attend an even there, the hotel location is perfect. Otherwise, you will be far away from anything relevant in Sao Paulo - regardless if it is a business destination (such as "Chacara Santo Antonio" and city downtown) or a touristic attraction (such as Anhembi Park). And Sao Paulo is all about location, location, location. The traffic in this city is heinous. The room I stay was spotless clean and spacious, although a bit worn-out. The decor is not impressive: it is a freakin' Holiday Inn. The cable TV selection is poor (no HBO, for instance) and the internet broadband speed is horrible, like most hotels in Brazil, compared to US standard. Forget about a video conference. The restaurant is huge, clean, good Brazilian food, with several different options and all very tasty. The restaurant is short on staff and the service is mediocre. The staff do not speak decent English either. The buffer breakfast is great and will pleas guests from any part of the world. The gym is awful, because is not run by the hotel (cheap bast$%#): a lot of equipment out of the order days in a row, rude one-man army staff and only two treadmills working for hundreds of guests. It is a joke, but you get for what you pay, right? The rate is very reasonable for a city like Sao Paulo, if you will pay using US dollars (the exchange rate edge).
Comfortable hotel, but the restaurant is very good, with a good price and a good lunch and dinner buffet. The staff is very attentive, especially Maitre Sérgio, always willing to help, and the price is attractive too.
I stayed here for 3 nights, during the Olami Summit for 1,000 people. The hotel did an excellent job hosting so many people at once and the team was very friendly, quick and efficient service with a smile. My room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was a little slice of heaven and the shower was great too! The bar made an amazing caprihana! Check-in and out was very easy. Want to give a shout out to Pablo and Felipe at the Front Desk for all their assistance (in great english) in helping me book a day tour of Sao Paulo! Although the hotel location is not in the heart of the city, I was very pleased and recommend it! Thank you for a wonderful stay! -Liz in Philadelphia, PA , USA
The hotel is exactly like in other country but the staff mostly speak portuguese, ok is Brasil but in the internacional hotel brand, is minimun the staff spoke english. Would incluide pan de queso in the room service menu like in other hotels in Brasil.
