Sorry for the late review ....My wife and I spent the a few nights here in late September. It's a great place to stay while visiting Santorini. Its a fairly central location making drives to either ends of the island fairly short. Also walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Its more of a bed and breakfast style of hotel with a small friendly staff. The rooms are cut into the cliffside and will be the closest you'll get to living in a cave, truly a unique experience. You won't find too much here in the way of "extras" but its clean, safe, and the views of the caldera are breathtaking. Continental breakfast (fruit, cereal, breads, hard boiled egg) is delivered to your semi-private or private balcony in the mornings and is simply one of the most beautiful ways to start the day. The pool side bar seemed to be a good place to meet other guests and share drinks, I unfortunately didn't get the chance but from what I saw I wish I had. If I'm honest I can't say too much about the pool itself, seems kinda just there to have one. BUT who cares, go to the beach....the staff will help organize a vehicle rental (smart cars and atv's are very popular and avoidable) go explore some of the beaches and get that sun. Overall if you want a top flight place with all the bells and whistles then this might not be the place for you, however as far as a B&B goes its fantastic! A place to start and end your day right, with a nice staff, thats clean and maintained well...and again the view is out of this world!
Fabulous well run villas excellent service breakfast was lovely delivered to our room promptly and laid out for us to enjoy the amazing views that we had from our room. Sunset was fantastic to watch with a nice glass of wine. Finding it was a bit of a challenge so maybe better to have signs put up as we had to ask locals for the directions other than that I would visit again and have no hesitation to stay in Fira Stefani thanks for making our first visit to santarini a memorable one.
Stayed here in early September and was a little sceptical prior to the stay. Thought there were nicer places & we would be disappointed but how wrong I was. Firstly the views could not be beaten. Awesome sunset views, fog rolling in etc. Central to the main town of Fira. Close to restaurants, Tourist agencies, bus & taxi access. It wasn't far from the main road for carrying our bags which was a bonus. Pool & Bar area is a focal point for meeting within a group but also for meeting other travellers. Most importantly, the service we received from all staff was above and beyond. Many thanks to Yacob & our breakfast / bagman whose name escapes me. plenty of tour advise and assistance throughout our stay
I loved my loft room, perfect for a solo traveler like myself! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and locals from Santorini. My breakfast was personally brought to me every single day and I ate it while staring directly out into the caldera! This was my life for four days! The hotel is ideally situated, directly in front of the caldera and about a ten minute walk or so from the town of Fira (where the shops are). It is small and, for me, that made it even better.
Myself and my partner stayed at these villas and We are so thankful that we did, the location was phenomenal!!! It was picturesque every day, truly one of the best views and sunsets I have ever seen, the staff were fantastic in particular Jacob the evening and night concierge, he recommended the best places to eat for local food and attractions and things to go, even for Athens which was our next location, also Giga the porter/handy man/ any job man was such a lovely man, absolutely nothing was a problem and he wouldn't let us lift a finger at all, both of them were so helpful and friendly really made the time there wonderful so for all of that I would highly recommend these villas for your time in Santorini
My wife and I stayed at nomikos villas for 4 nights. The hotel is located on the caldera and walking distance from restaurants and shops. It is also 15 min walk from Fira and imeglovilia. The location was great. We rented a car and also had free parking at a lot 3 min from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. YAkavos and giga were awesome and especially helpful. The view of the bay and th caldera from the hotel is amazing. We stayed in room 8 which had a small terrace with an amazing view. The rooms are dated but clean. Our only issue with the room was that There was a smell of dampness in the bathroom that would spread to the other rooms. We complained about this but apparently there was no remedy. The pool /lounge area is small but the size was suffficient for the number of guests. The breakfast is included and they provide a variety of choices. It was bought to our room every morning. Despite the smelly bathroom we had a good stay.
Great location, great views and very helpful, wonderful staff. We actually looked forward to seeing "Jack" and Giga at the end of our day of sightseeing. We were sad to leave. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and we were always greeted with a smile.
Dave- We stayed here for 3 nights but wish we booked 5. The views are amazing and the staff are just as incredible. Breakfast to your room every day is a plus. Char- we had poolside room and it was great! We loved walking out to the pool area and the view is amazing! As Dave said Breaky delivered to your room which you eat out on the tables is perfect. No need to go to Oia for the sunset as you can see the full sunset on the horizon from here, trust me!! Little walk into main area of Fira but I would stay here over and over without hesitation. The staff are fabulous and it's a really easy going hotel, totally worth the price & highly recommend.
My family and I were there for only one night. Our room had an amazing view of the caldera with a lovely balcony. The sunset view was spectacular. The staff at the hotel did everything they could to make our visit special. The location is amazing - right on the cliffs and just far enough from Fira. There are several amazing restaurants, shops, etc. just a few minute walk away. Gigas was always there to help with our luggage or just to provide a glass of water. Natalia and Iakovos provided so much help regarding where to go, what to see and making arrangements on our behalf. I would go back here to visit at anytime!
I love this hotel. I spent special days there. In particular, the view is great. With seeing the view, I ate breakfast, took a nap, chilled out... In addition to, the stuffs were very kind. We, Japanese, are not good at speaking English, but they talked with us friendly. They were always cared about us. The location was a little far from Fira, but the ways from Nomikos Villas to Fira has a lot of fine view. Therefore, I didn't feel it hard. Near this hotel, there was good restaurants, mini markets and small bus stations. We took a local bus to Oia. Thank you so much. Some day, I hope I will come back...
