Stayed for a few days earlier in June at this excellent hotel in an executive suite. The room was immaculate and had everything you could need including lounge area, large bedroom, twin station bathroom with separate toilet and shower room. There was also plenty of wardrobe space. The service from all the staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of staff who spoke English for those who have no Spanish. The views of the Andes mountains were stunning in the early morning sunshine. I am looking forward to returning again soon.
Tis hotel is always my first option in Santiago, and probably for many others as it's always full. The rooms are clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The only thing that I miss is a heating system during the cold months. The gym is well equipped and the restaurants and bars have a good choice of food and drinks. More than this, it's located at a walking distance from Parque Arauco, where you have a good selection of stores and restaurants.
This Marriott is new and its rooms are tops. I got upgraded and my corner "suite" was like an apartment and its amenities and spaces well distributed to really stay there all day. Being close to top graded Shopping Malls and Stores makes it an ideal location for business or pleasure.
The hotel is in a great location. There are many restaurants and bars within a short walk. The service at the hotel was excellent. We arrived after a long 9+ hour flight from the US and they allowed us to check into our room early. Due to my Marriott status we had access to the executive lounge which was amazing. A nice place to grab water and soda during the day. The lounge was a great place for breakfast in the morning and good drinks and snacks at night. Our room had a great view of the city and the Andes Mountains even with a little smog. We will definitely stay here next time we return to Santiago. Great Job Marriott Santiago.
Wonderful stay! Close to major malls and parks. Nice view of the mountains. The executive lounge was a plus. One of the employees was outstanding, helping us with ideas about the city. His name was Diego Acuña. Everyday he received us with a smile and excellent breakfast. Thumbs Up!!!
Stayed here for 2 Nights. Great hotel with great location. Shopping mall very close by. Rooms are big and as always the Marriott beds are amazing! Only thing I found a bit depressing was the staff sad faces and lack of enthusiasm! Quite expensive room service too.
Very nice hotel. Although some trouble at first with the room not being ready on arrival. They offered an alternative room right away and solved the problem quickly. Nice big rooms for business travel. Good wifi Great breakfast
Stay was excellent. Two on site restaurants and tried them both. One of them serve only buffet which was disappointing. It is quite tricky to operate the shower in the bath. I had to call housekeeping to figure out how it is activated. They put a sticker showing how a couple of days later. They will arrange taxi from the airport and back which was very convenient.
As a Marriott Gold, I've come to expect consistency between properties. This hotel, while in a great location, didn't fully meet expectations. Here is why: 1) Cleanliness - there was some sort of mold falling from the air intake over the bathroom onto the toilet. I showed the front desk pictures, and all they did was clean it up. Nobody could answer the question as to what it was or offer an alternative room. The carpet in the rooms, and many reviews have indicated, is in desperate need of repair. 2) Service- While the employees in the Club Lounge were great, the in room dining service was subpar. They failed to deliver the in room dining claiming it was canceled. I never canceled the order. It was eventually delivered but with no apology or offer to make it right. Then, that same tray remained outside the room for about 12 hours before it was eventually picked up. There were some things I enjoyed: 1) Sauna, steam room, and hot tub were great added benefit 2) Club Lounge has great assortment of food for breakfast and cocktail hour (including complimentary wines). I would recommend they cook their eggs better however during breakfast. 3) Room had a great view and was spacious 4) Concierge- Hans helped provide a great list of recommendations and helped to arrange car service from SCL and a tour to Casablanca Wineries. Very easy to work with. I plan to return to Santiago, but will highly consider the Renaissance across the highway, the W, or the Ritz Carlton.
Staying here for business. The location is perfect, walking distance from the offices of many companies, with nice restaurants and a shopping mall in the neighborhood. Entering the hotel you enter a nice lobby with a nice bar and restaurant. Check-in is (like last year) not very efficient. The rooms are specious but old, with carpet that needs replacement. It is the location that brought me here. Now there is a Marriott Courtyard next door. This one is new, with fewer facilities, more business style. Think I am going to try that one next time.
