Great place to stay in Santiago, Chile it is so close to shopping, restaurants in walking distance, yo dont even need a taxi. It is safe and crew really awesome. I stayed for a week and was a nice experience
This modern hotel is situated in a quiet residential location only ten minutes walk from a major shopping mall and the underground network. The staff spoke enough English for us to get by and were very helpful in booking our taxi to the airport (only 30 USD). We had a lovely suite containing two bedrooms both with en suites, a kitchen with fridge and a spacious sitting room. The breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. One final thing, there is a lovely little coffee bar come restaurant only 100m from the hotel called "Beppo Cafe" that serve wonderful sandwiches and a very limited range of main courses, we ate on the outside veranda for both lunch and dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance, however they don't have a license for alcohol.
Great location, near to good restaurants and the new shopping costanera center. The rooms are very good and you have a kitchen if you want to do some cooking. The breakfast is included and very complete.
My family and I spent 3 days last December, and even though I already reviewed this Hotel I gotta give my thumbs up again, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. I love staying at Presidente edificio. Thank you !
Very nice hotel situated in a calm and peaceful area of Santiago; not far from the center of town. Good service with a very friendly staff. Front door always locked for good security. If you are looking for a smaller hotel this is the place!
Situated in nice neighborhood (Las Condes), big and cozy rectangular room, excellent bed, correct attention. Only 5 minutes walking to the downtown, 5 minutes walking to the biggest mall. Has a small pool for relaxing. Really high speed Wifi, and for free. Because of my job I sleep more often in hotels than at home. And this hotel is one place I felt really comfortable. Along one year I stayed at this place a week per month, and it was really enjoyable my stay there. The cooperative tariff was really affordable.
We were put in this hotel by the company when we first arrived. Well-located, quiet, clean, safe. The desk and housekeeing staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. However, sheets and towels were well-used and wearing thin, several had holes in them. Much of the kitchen items were missing and when we asked for them, a housekeeper had to come and verify that they were indeed missing. Irons are not provided - one old iron with melted synthetic materials on it and attached to the wall was located wiht one ironing table with a stained cover in a poorly-lit basement closet. Laundry services were very expensive. The wifi was poor. Email ok, two devices on eg newspapers challenging, streaming or skype not possible. For USD200 / night we were expecting more. However, in Santiago, safety and security and quiet are important, espcially if you are new in town.
I've stayed in this hotel many times in the last 8 years, for a variety or reasons, medical appointments, vacations, concerts, and I have always feel at home. I've stayed with my family and by myself and I'm always been treated like a king or a rock star, also always given good rates and never had any problems of any kind. Its close to a few great restaurants and easy to get from/to the airport or by car when driving. I totally recommend it.
new hotel, good shower, small room with little room for suitcase but ok for one person.Only 3-4 blocks from many restaurants, shopping center, and metro. Good wifi, helpful front desk staff. Would not hesitate to stay there again
I stayed here for a week when I visited Santiago for business. I found the hotel to be very comfortable. My room was more of a mini-apartment, with a kitchenette, a small table suitable for eating or working, a small seating area, and in a separate area, a large, comfortable bed, ample closet space, and a small but full bathroom. I especially liked having the kitchenette, since I don't like going out to dinner by myself and I really appreciate being able to make myself a cup of tea or something in the evening. The area is residential, which means it is pleasingly quiet, but shops and the nearest metro stop are only a few blocks away. The neighborhood also seemed quite safe to me. The breakfast buffet is just fine: bread and rolls, butter, jam, cold cuts, cheeses, tomatoes, a fruit platter, cold cereals, yoghurt, coffee, tea, milk, juices. I found the staff to be quite professional and helpful. I don't know whether the desk staff speaks any English, since I dealt with them in Spanish. There's also free wifi (which can get a little slow in the evenings, I noticed). Overall, it was just right for my needs as a woman traveling solo for business.
