I cam here with my boyfriend for a night in Granada. We had a car and so we didn't mind that we were in Santa Fe rather than Granada itself. The reception looks quite spacious and grand when you enter. The room that we had was spotlessly clean and pleasant to stay in. No problem at all with that. However, the breakfast was a disgrace. There seem to be only two people working in this hotel and trying to do everything at once. It is obvious that due to the crisis in Spain, the hotel is trying to make cutbacks by not employing so many staff. However, this means that the service provided is substandard. There was nobody in the breakfast room, the cutlery was dirty/cloudy and many basic items that you expect to see at a breakfast buffet were not there. There was an English breakfast and continental breakfast to chose from, but even my Spanish boyfriend was not impressed. The only good thing about this hotel are the rooms. I wouldn't recommended anything else. The staff were friendly enough. Parking access is not obvious.
Despite its location, this hotel needs a relook at its business. Very basic rooms, spartan food and upkeep that needs refresh. Given that all group tours patronise such hotels, the guest get a raw deal in terms of basic food and amenities. Time for newer budget hotels to come up?
We were recommended this hotel but when we turned up the receptionist looked down her nose at us and said she was full. We asked if she knew of another hotel locally with secure parking, she said she had just called one and it had space and parking. When we got to the hotel she said she had spoken to they did not have parking and were full. Moreover they said that they had not been called by the receptionist at the Capitulaciones. We ended up at the Hotel Santa Fe where the staff could have not been more helpful and had a good nights sleep for €25ea
Maria on reception was very helpful from the moment we arrived, always very helpful as we're all the other staff. The room was made up every day and was clean and modern. The bar was nice to spend a few hours in too. We would walk to Santa Fe in the evening and enjoy the bars and friendly locals.😃
Room is not bad for a night. We were supposed to stay for three but left after two. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Room is basic and sorta clean. Hallways are definately not. Carpets are totally worn and need replacement. It is close to Granada with a 45 mins drive to Alhambra.
Good hotel located just 10 min from Granada airport. But bad from point of public transport and that it's close to main road. It's too noisy. Staff is friendly and kind. Rooms are clean and nice. Just smell is strange around all hotel. Wi-works good.
I would recommend anybody who has an early morning flight to use this hotel. It is located on a service road from which we could get directly to the airport. No U-Turns necessary. I think it must have been recently refurbished. It was clean and has all the amenities in the right places. Cheap car park Exactly what we needed.
This is a real 3 star rated hotel, where you find what is expected from that level. Wide room, clean, easy to find and cheap parking. Located 10 minutes away from Granada, by car, the small town of Santa Fe deserves a visit and is plenty of good restaurants to get the best "tapas". Friendly staff, they help you even to find a hairdresser on saturday! Definitely ask for the breakfast, not a buffet for a reasonable price you'll get a fresh and just made orange juice, bakery and espresso also made on time, ever seen this in a superior hotel?
If you need a bed for the night close to the airport, this works. But don't expect anything as it was definitely "not ready for prime time". Construction outside caused confusion and parking problems. Staff seemed unsure of processes. Hotel is situated in such a way you really can't (don't want to) walk anywhere. The room was plain and simple; fixtures seemed worn: curtains didn't move easily; the handle to the restaurant was broken. The hotel site had quoted something like $130E. Booking.com was $50E, with breakfast. Sounded like a great deal--they then told us they don't really have breakfast. We had to haggle to get some juice and croissants. DIsappointing overall. But easy to the airport!
We stayed at this hotel the night before an early morning flight. Based on other reviews, we asked for a room in the back and got a very quiet (and comfortable) room. The modern hotel was a typical bland airport hotel but was spotlessly clean and had all the needed amenities. As a bonus, I found the bed one of the most (if not the most) comfortable beds I slept in over a 7 week trip. We had to pay for covered parking although free parking in tight spaces was available. We did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. Instead we drove the very short distance into the main part of Santa Fe for dinner and found the town very charming. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a hotel near the airport.
