The good: Beautiful building, background and breakfast. The bad: host that work from 8-6pm is terrible, rude and not helpful at all. If you are planning on sleeping three people in the second floor with a nook specially in the summer, rethink this. The nook is extremely hot, impossible to sleep. We ended up sleeping two people on the bed and the other in the floor. Thai is not acceptable. Overall I would stay in the same area but different hotel or bed and breakfast.

Review for La Perla Hotel La Perla is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The property is private, deeded, and very well maintained, with landscaping that makes the whole space feel calm and inviting. My room was spotless, spacious, and everything worked exactly as it should. The shower had strong water pressure, which I appreciated after a long day of wine tasting. The hotel has a nice pool, a breakfast area in the mornings, and even offers wines you can purchase on site. It is quiet, isolated, and very secure, so you really feel like you’re getting away from everything. The customer service team was great the entire time and made the stay even better. Highly recommend if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxing spot in the region.

Relaxing hotel close to Santa Cruz

Excellent friendly staff! Grounds are well maintained and peaceful atmosphere. Good breakfast - lacks a bar (but can buy drinks from reception). We had a balcony room - was great but decor slightly dated. We hired bikes from hotel (okay and came with helmets) - it is about 40 mins cycle to main wineries - sadly some of the route is fast roads (Uber is very cheap however). Would stay here again!

Poor Facilities, great breakfast.

We stayed here and unfortunately the hotel did not match the reviews. We got to the hotel and checked in quickly, but after arriving and a long day of travelling we wanted to freshen up in the Whirlpool bath we specifically booked. Unfortunately there was no hot water. I raised this immediately to reception who spent the next 2 hours tryingto fix it without luck. I asked to be moved rooms and they did not allow this, despite there only being 3 other rooms booked in that day (out of at least 12) I was promised it would be fixed, but it never did. The bathroom had serious signs of damp and was permanently cold, and at no point during our stay did we get hot water. Upon checkout the hotel tried to charge even more than the booked rate on hotels.com at which point I had to negotiate them down to a lower rate and this took over 30 minutes to complete. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful, but really moving me to another room that worked would have been the most helpful thing they could do, or just allow me to stay in another hotel. The rate I paid was still far too much and if you're paying full price, don't bother it isn't justified.

Es un bonito y tranquilo lugar para descansar. Las habitaciones y la decoración del sitio son excepcionales. Debes ir preparado con algo para la cena porque por ahora no tienes opción. No está muy alejado de Santa Cruz pero debes ir en auto.

La Perla made our visit to Santa Cruz and the surrounding wine region a delight. The hotel grounds we beautiful and the hotel was spotless! Great service at front desk with efficient help in setting up winery visit, dining reservations and horseback rides. We would without a doubt use La Perla again.

Very nice quiet resort with friendly staff. Although, don't forget your wine glasses, they will rent you one for 3$. Yes, rent. But got there, you won't regret it.

Sadly because so many tourists cancelled due to problems in Santiago their restaurant wasnt open but that wasn't their fault. A beautiful place to stay.
