had a few stains on the bed spread but nothing HORRIBLE. ok for the price. i stay here once or twice a year. haven't had a horrible experience
The floor was gross. Hairs were in the bed when the cover was pulled back. Brown spots on the fitted sheets like they weren’t clean. Tried calling the front desk and the phone didn’t work even checked the plug.
Staff was awesome and everything was what you’d expect from a Motel 6. My only complaint would be the cockroach roaming around the counter next to the tv & ice bucket in our room when we first arrived.
Room was pretty clean with adequate things. Didn’t have shampoo. Also our room was not made up. Circular towel holder was cute and funky but not super clean so we didn’t want to hang out towels there.
$150/night with taxes and still they want you to pay extra for wifi. Gouge away!
Would consider staying again at this hotel. It was pleasant, but nothing at the ordinary. 15 minutes away from Pismo Beach.
Dirty towels. Bugs everywhere. Heater was full of dust and smelled every time you turn it on. Microwave was dirty. Curtain dirty. Mattress wasn't comfortable. Worst stay of my life!
This motel is ghetto.. I didn't get any sleep at all.. The walls really thin, I heard the next door neighbors' every move.. I asked to be in a smoke free move, but instead I was put in a room where people were smoking on the stairs on the stairs and there were also cigarette buds every where in the walk way leading up to my room.. People were loitering and starring, which made me feel uncomfortable.. Also, the the bathtub was dirty..
I brought my son to San Luis Obispo so he could check into Cal Poly the next morning to begin WOW there at the college. When we arrived at Motel 6 on Friday, we had to wait some time due to several ahead of us also checking in. There was a strong cigarette smell in and around the office. The office staff were friendly and kind. When we did go to our room, it was very basic, accutally too basic for us. The room had no shampoo, only very small soaps (hardly big enough for two people), and no coffee pot. All it had was two beds and a small TV set. This might be normal for a Motel 6, but for $136 per night, I expected a little more. Also, the rooms had very thin walls and we could hear a lot of noise coming from other rooms above and near us.
Gave them my id to check in I overlooked that I got it back at check in but didn't . I called them the following Tuesday they couldn't find it an inconvenience to replace it. Will never stay at motel 6 again this is a second bad experience at motel 6.
Bed sheets had some hairs and very wrinkles Housekeeping was not available
You get what you pay for. In my opinion, it is worth the extra cost to stay in a nicer hotel such as the Marriott just across LOVR. The people upstairs were walking all around their room throughout the entire night and it sounded like the walls were going to shake to the ground. We got maybe 3 hours of sleep that night. The room finishes are sub-par. I would not stay in this motel again.
Noise next to the freeway. Bring your own shampoo! Be prepared for some Cal Poly kids having parties. However hotel staff very nice.
I have used Motel 6 for years due to its ease of access, excellent locations, good prices and excellent facilities. Staff is always coutrteous and facilities always clean. Numerous locations all over my action area. I recommend it highly.
