The staff is very helpful an considerate, I love this resort.

The Resort was Beautiful!!! Unfortunately, the staff at the front deal acted extremely snobby and rude.

We reserved the penthouse suite, over all the room was nice and clean, my only complain is that as soon as we got there we got judged, the front desk "Lisa" was her name , I felt was racist and instantly told us that if there was loud noise or we will get kicked out, and if there where any smell of marijuana they will call the cops to mind we don't even smoke " talk about stereotype , and to top it of she mentioned that it was a high end resort and that they do not allow party's , so we had to keep the noise down, we took a walk around the resort and there was people having party's , over all worse experience ever , to top it off it was my husbands birthday

Great place for a Girls weekend! Location is perfect to do some wine tasting in Templeton & Paso Robles. Love the ocean view unit. Only comment that the hotel could approve is the path for the Kitchen or crew use the ocean view path to cart items back in forth from the kitchen or pool etc. They should go behind the hotel so the noise level of the wheels early or late in the evening does not disturb the hotel guest!!!

Rooms were huge with a full kitchen and great view. The negative part is there was nothing additional added to the experience. Checked into the room and no food, no drinks, not even a bottle of water in the room. Bed was uncomfortable and so was sitting on the pull out sofa. Bedroom TV was no more than a 15" which was too small. Infinity pool isn't what you think. It's a pool, surrounded by a gate and smaller than expected. Overall my experience was average. For what I paid I must admit I expected better services than what I received.

This is our second stay at this resort. We have booked a 2-room suite on both stays. The room is fantastic, but not as fantastic as the people. The valets, desk, spa, and even restaurant staff at the Lido go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We will definitely be back again, and we have recommended this resort to many friends.

From the moment we arrived, we noticed that the service was both courteous and friendly and that the grounds were well-maintained. Our room included a full modern kitchen, dining room, living room (with pull-out sofa, flat-screen TV, DVD player), patio, as well as bedroom (supplied with a requested crib) and bathroom. Having two young children, we wished that the bathroom had a bathtub instead of a shower only. We took a stroll down to Shell Beach and the kids checked out the sea anenomes in the tide pools and played at the water's edge. After dinner, we took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi. The resort also supplied the kids with a bucket full of goodies so that they were well-entertained throughout our stay. As we were leaving, our oldest child (who hates showers) asked us when we would be coming back which is probably the best endorsement that can be given.

This hotel is a bit expensive but is worth every cent. The service and staff are very friendly and the attention to detail is second to none. I highly recommend Dolphin Bay Hotel for anyone wanting to make a lasting impression and wonderful memories.

Great. Friendly. Quiet. Amazing room.

Although pricy, this was the perfect choice for our weekend in Pismo Beach. It is a suite of rooms -- bedroom, living room and full kitchen, tastefully appointed. The views are striking. The resort pool is longer than most hotel pools -- about 20 yards -- and easy for lap-swimming. We had a very relaxing weekend.

Went up to Pismo for the weekend. The hotel is the best hotel in the area. Ocean views from every room. The hotel lobby staff and valet were very friendly and remembered my name every contact I had with them. They really know how to make one feel at home. They offer movies of DVD (free) in the lobby, and free popcorn and hot chocolate to boot! The on property restaurant LIDO was excellant as well!

Rooms are wonderful and very large. The beds were comfy. Everything was very clean and very well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool was heated which is a plus on the overcast days. Although it was busy for our weekend stay, they had plenty of staff working out at the pool to get you what you needed. The stairs to the beach are just a short walk, making access easy. Would stay again and again.

Our annual tax relief holiday has taken us to many beautiful places but this is definitely one we will remember. The room was so wonderful we didn't want to leave and the staff and food were fanatastic. Hope we have an occassion to come back!

[...] indicated units had king beds in each bedroom, which is not the case. The 2nd BR was small with a queen. The resort indicated they have all different options for the 2nd BR. We did love the resort & it's location, but the pool & constantly banging gate was quite noisy during the day.

Superb staff! Fantastic location! Will definitely come again!

We went to Dolphin Bay as a birthday get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. When we arrived we did not receive the room we paid for (i.e. on with a jetted tub/Jacuzzi). We did not want to make a big deal out of it for we just wanted to relax and went out to the hot tub outside. We were told we would be getting a few treat for our dog (which came with the 65 pet fee..not included in the 400 per night cost) and never received that either. The TV in the living room had no cable signal so we were not able to utilized one of their big selling points of out room. For dinner my fiancé ordered a $40 medium rare stake which came out burnt and well done so we had to send it back only to receive a completely rare steak. The dryer in the room also took over 4 hours to dry two pairs of pants. The room was nice but I dont know if it was worth the ending $500 we spent after taxes and hotel fees for one night.

THE DOLPHIN BAY RESORT &SPA WAS A GREAT TRIP THE STAFF WAS SO FRIENDLY & THE ROOM WAS GREAT.

This was the first time that we stayed here. I was with my spouse and two children. Age 12 and 10. They loved it. The condo's were very big and beautiful. The pool was heated (the kids loved this most) and they had a fitness center. We also loved the fact the beach was about a 5 minute walk away. We would stay here again.

Can't wait to go back, we felt like royalty we were treated so well. The room was so inviting and the bed the most comfortable I've ever slept in. At check out I asked what brand it was so I can purchase one for home. And we found they allow pets... Fabulous!!!

The rooms are large and the furniture comfortable. The location on the ocean is perfect. I could not be more happy with the staff. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at and I would definately recommend it to a friend.
