The house is lovely. It is an easy walk down to the beach, and there are plenty of chairs and beach gear for your needs. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the kitchen had just the right amount of pots and pans to make breakfast or a small dinner. There is a restaurant close by that has amazing food, too, if you don’t feel like cooking. This is our second time staying at the house for Spring Break, and I love it so much that I plan on coming back again.

This was a best family vacation ever. The house was clean, adorable, and had everything we needed. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk! If you walk 20 minutes up the shore and along dirt paths in either direction, you get to stunning remote empty beaches. We like nature with no bells or whistles and that's exactly what we got! It also had a very local vibe rather than touristy which we loved. You will need a car to get to the grocery store but the driving is easy. Our hosts answered us promptly and with very helpful information. I see in other reviews that people mentioned the house is in a trailer park and it IS surrounded by campers but they were cute! The neighborhood was charming and we felt very safe. We can't wait to go back.

We loved our stay at Villa Camelia. The house was spacious and my kids loved using the hammocks at night and playing games on the first level. They provided a ton of beach equipment, coolers, beach wagon (although by this leg of our trip we just parked at seven seas for 5 instead of walking over.) The water was so calm at Seven Seas and my kids could snorkel and enjoy the beach without the red flags that many of the beaches experienced during our stay. There are restrooms, etc. available at this beach which was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay again. There are weekend campers around the property which seemed empty until Friday night. It’s a nice quiet area and yes the restaurant Costa Mia has a generator running but from the main level the house obstructs most of that sound in my opinion. It was a great location for this part of PR! Thank you

We loved our stay here. Easy walk down to the beach, and the kayaks made our stay so much more fun. Host had everything needed for a great day at the beach (chairs, cooler, and a wagon to carry everything). The property is fantastic. I traveled with my three teens and we all had plenty of space to spread out. Fantastic value!

Lovely stay. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach, several restaurants within walking distance, and hiking at the nature reserve and to beaches. We put the kayaks and lifejackets in our minivan rental and went to the bioluminescent Laguna grande. Washer and dryer was great to have though would caution to only fill washer half full.

Spring Break with family
We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Camelia. The beach was walking distance, and there are some fantastic trails on the nature reserve. The house was very clean, and there were all the amenities you needed for the beach: chairs, coolers, snorkeling masks, and kayaks. Also, it’s a great location. We were able to go to the grocery store and pick up things we needed, but there is a restaurant that is walking distance, too. We did day trips to El Yunque and San Juan while staying for the week (we rented a car). I definitely would plan to stay at Villa Camelia next time I plan a trip to Puerto Rico in the Fajardo area.

Nice house
Nice house. Not directly on the beach and the surrounding area isn’t the most pleasant I could only hear a generator running constantly instead of the ocean… but a clean, nice house.

Beautiful beach
We had a lovely stay at this location. The house was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials. A beautiful beach is a very short walk away as well as several good restaurants. Only downside was that there are chickens running wild and the roosters woke us up every morning around 6:30. The neighboring trailers can be loud on the weekends so overall we suggest bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise it was nice to explore a more off the beaten path side of the island and it was and easy launch point for boat trips to the nearby islands and bioluminescent bay.

Winter Break
We started our stay during the New Years Eve blackout but we were able to make the best of the situation by spending time in the beautiful outdoors and at the nearby beaches. Power was restored after a day, but the plant that supplied the water was not restored. Communication was amazing with the owners as they arranged to have water brought in to the cistern so we were able to have running water. They were very responsive the entire vacation. Thank you! When we first arrived we were skeptical of the area as there were many trailer homes, but we were in awe of the accommodations of this property inside and out, that we didn’t notice as much. We felt completely safe in this area. We started to fall in love with the island living, even the roosters in the morning! We loved lounging in the hammocks and were so grateful for all the beach chairs, wagon and cooler that was made available to us during our stay. The beach was literally steps from the property and if you drove a little further down there was parking at Seven Seas beach and a path to follow for some of the most beautiful beaches! The location was perfect for visiting El Yunque and the Loquillo kiosks and an hour from Old San Juan (a must see!). The owner was wonderful and made several great recommendations of places to visit.I would highly recommend this place to stay for your next visit to Puerto Rico!

Merry Christmas
The first thing that caught my attention was how immaculately clean everything was. (Including the outdoor garbage bins. You could have eaten out of them - seriously!) We appreciated having such a clean, comfortable space literally across the street from the beach. We also felt very safe due to the large automatic locking gate. The yard was incredible. The patio amazing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable too. The home smells so nice and fresh. Communication was a breeze and the owners were so sweet to allow us to arrive early with very short notice. The roosters were a bit of a bummer, but by the third morning we got more used to them and were sleeping better. If I ever return to PR, I will definitely stay here again.
Loved this house! Everything we needed was there. The owners were responsive with questions and even sent us names of places to. Easy check in. Close enough to walk to the beach and several restaurants. There were fruit trees in the yard! Fajardo is a great town to visit!

Vacation
Great stay at Villa Camelia. The location was great; It's a 2 minute walk to the great beach for swimming and snorkeling, several good spots to eat within a couple minutes drive and two good grocery stores within 5-10 minute drive.
The property itself was safe, secure, clean. AC was cold, everything worked as described.
We had an awesome stay and great interactions with the host.

A slice of paradise in PR
My family and I had a wonderful time at Villa Camelia, the property and location exceeded our expectations. The house itself is very roomy yet cozy with a lot of personal touches to make you feel welcome. From the grand yard, garden, and lower deck full of amenities (hammocks, bbq grill, private bathroom) to the second floor interior with a fully equipped kitchen, living area and bedrooms all with individually zoned A/C, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation. Other than a run to the local supermarket for basic food staples, there really isn't anything else needed to fully immerse in all the calmness and excitement that Puerto Rico has to offer. The host is really personable and made sure that our stay was worry free by providing clear information and suggestions about local restaurants, markets, travel destinations, etc, all including GPS coordinates and driving directions when needed. But all that aside, the most wonderful aspect of the property is that it is literally a very short 2.5 minute WALK away from one of the most beautiful (and secluded) beaches we have visited in Puerto Rico. The host made sure to make available anything and everything you'd ever need to enjoy your time at the beach. We could not ask for a more wonderful place to call home away from home. Thank you!

A nice little gem
This house was the perfect place for our family. We utilized the outdoor space for most of our visit, it was nice to spread out and relax. The owners were quick to respond to any issues we had (water pressure dropped due to maintenance, and fortunately there was a backup water tank). The roosters were lovely to hear in the mornings. I would say the only real drawback was that this is a weekenders area, and the surrounding community of trailers enjoyed partying. Sometimes it was loud, but it never went too late and was never intolerable. Maybe it’s not every weekend, we were there Easter weekend. The location was killer, walking distance to so many different places to enjoy - the locals beach across the street, Seven Seas, Playa Colora, Escondido, downtown Las Croabas. The amenities were simple but we had all we needed, other than salt and pepper and a good knife. We would love to stay here again in the future.

beautiful home just a block from the beach
house and grounds are very pretty and inviting, with all the amenities we could have asked for (including kayaks, hammocks, lawnchairs, and a huge tub of snorkel gear and beach toys), several beautiful beaches within a few blocks' walk, and some truly excellent restaurants just down the street (both Kalizo and La Estacion were wonderful). hosts communicated promptly and were able to resolve an unexpected and minor mechanical issue with minimal inconvenience. overall a great place to stay. highly recommend.

Enjoyable stay.
The two-story house is extremely comfortable, clean and well-equipped. You will find everything you could want, from pots and pans to beach towels to beach chairs. The air-conditioning works well. The owner/managers respond immediately to every request,
We will note several features that may concern some guests. The view from the house is mobile homes , parking lots and not-particularly attractive cement block buildings although you can also see the ocean. The renowned Seven Seas beach is a 5-10 minute walk or short drive away. The hot water in the house was lukewarm — adequate for showers but not ideal for washing greasy pots and pans. Finally, guests who stayed more than a week had no cleaning or changed towels mid-stay.

Location, location, location!
Excellent location if you love beautiful beaches, adventures, hiking and birding! The Faro trail and wetlands trail in San Juan Cabezas was great for birding. There are also trails to amazing beaches and a a great restaurant right in front of the property. The spacious house had a great beachy theme with lots of places to sit inside, downstairs and in the yard. Very compfy and had everything you'd need including beach stuff, which we didn't utilize. They even brought over a blender when we couldn't find one. Super place!
