The pool area is secured with a gate or lock, and please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Additionally, there is a small playground near the front entrance for children's enjoyment. For enhanced security, the apartment's front door is equipped with a keypad entry system, and guests will be provided with a unique passcode. The front door also features a Ring security camera for audio and visual monitoring, which is installed on the exterior only. Outside the front door, there is a locked box containing a spare key to the apartment, accessible to all registered guests. La Costa is a secure gated community conveniently located near Marina Puerto del Rey and Ceiba Ferry Terminal. Our guests have access to community amenities such as the pool, tennis and basketball court, as well as two dedicated parking spaces. Rest assured that 24-hour security is always present to provide scheduled patrolling throughout the community.
Situated on the south side of Fajardo, we are approximately an hour away from the airport and just 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. Nearby, you'll find a wealth of attractions to explore. For instance, just 10 minutes away, 7 Seas beach offers picturesque trails leading to stunning beaches such as Playa Escondida and Colorá. Alternatively, you can visit Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve or take a kayaking tour to the bioluminescent lagoon. Seven Seas is also home to water sports and rental shacks, plus water taxis that can whisk you away to the Cays for snorkeling and fishing tours.
If you head south for 10 minutes, you'll arrive at Ceiba Ferry Terminal, where we recommend booking tickets in advance. Meanwhile, just 20 minutes away, the town of Luquillo beckons with its many beaches, including Playa Azul, La Selva, and La Pared, as well as culinary delights served at the Luquillo Kiosk. Additionally, you can visit the nearby river and enjoy natural water slides at Las Paylas.

Poor choice
The property and complex was fine but there was a washer and dryer on site that was locked. Do not rent if u have a large family- no laundromats within 15-20 min, and they close early. Sheets in the master bedroom were dirty.

Perfectly Relaxing
This was a very last minute booking so not sure what to expect so were really pleasantly surprised. The communication before hand with Cristobal was always very prompt and helpful and after a long flight and midnight arrival the directions and entry details for the complex and apartment were super clear.
The apartment suited us, 2 couples easily and was well equipped, very clean and beds really comfortable and efficient air con in the bedrooms. You do not need it in the main room as there is a lovely breeze. The high light, stunning views across to the sea and the islands from the balcony and roof terrace. The roof terrace is a amazing space which could be made more off but does have a BBQ up there which was great. Car is essential, neighbour hood is quiet but it was lovely to come back each day to the tranquility of the apartment, San Juan, Luquillo etc all easy access and ferries and Fajardo and Peninsula 10-15 mis away. Nearest restaurant in the Marina great atmosphere, happy staff and good food.
A huge thank you to Cristobal for his outstanding service and communication, nothing was too much trouble when we had a couple of problems they were addressed very promptly. He also gave some amazing recommendations for local services. We would absolutely recommend staying here.
