~ Our cleaning staff is being extra diligent in disinfecting the property – before guests arrive and after guests depart -- with particular attention to high touch items and hard surfaces. To allow the extra time needed for this enhanced cleaning protocol, we will ensure a minimum of 24 hours between reservations.

~ To limit non-essential contact between staff and guests, we have temporarily suspended our daily housekeeping service except in an emergency.

You’ll be wowed by the sweeping sea and valley views at Vista Paraiso. This two-story 3 bedroom, 4 bath luxury vacation rental is ideally located at the top of Pelican Eyes community overlooking the bay of San Juan del Sur.

Your stay at Vista Paraiso includes a bilingual meet & greet, personal concierge and daily housekeeping. Our maids will even do your dishes!

The Space

The villa is surrounded by a covered porch with sitting areas perfect for reading, napping or sipping a cocktail in the tropical breeze. Bring a book or two and quiet your mind in a lounger, rocking chair or hammock.

The private plunge pool is the perfect place for kids to splash the day away. Your Vista Paraiso vacation also includes access to the 2 community pools, which are open daily from 7 am until sundown.

There is a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, espresso machine and unlimited coffee. The attached living room includes a flat screen TV and comfortable seating for 8. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some Netfilx after a day of exploring.

Each of the Vista Paraiso’s 3 bedrooms has a private entrance with terrace plus spacious ensuite bathrooms with hot water rainfall showers. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king beds. The third bedroom has two queen beds. Our quality mattresses, pillows and linens ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.

While Vista Paraiso’s 3 bedrooms have space for 8 guests, a futon sofa bed in the living room means it can house up to 10 guests. Vista Paraiso can be rented along with other Casa de Cooper villas to accommodate a family reunion or milestone celebration with friends.

Guest Access

Your Vista Paraiso holiday includes access to the 2 Pelican Eyes community pools that are located a 5-minute walk from the villa and open daily from 7 am to sundown.

Cascada Club Restaurant & Bar is located on the lower level of the community. It is open Thursday to Sunday from noon to 10 pm.

Location

We are accessible from town on foot in 15 minutes for anyone with a good level of fitness. A 3-minute taxi ride to or from town makes the home ideal for all ages of guests at any fitness level.

Our central location provides easy access to the many in-town restaurants, bars, shops and nearby beaches.

The Augusto C Sandino International Airport in Managua is a 2.5 hour drive away. Alternately, you can fly into the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia. With border crossing travel time is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Other things to note

The last 300 meters of road to Casa de Cooper is uphill and unpaved. Extra care is required for guests arriving in low clearance vehicles and compact cars.

This property has an electricity allowance of 45 kilowatts per day. This is a sufficient amount to power the villa with responsible use of air conditioning in the bedrooms. Electricity consumption over this amount will be charged at a rate of $0.50 USD per kilowatt hour.

We are pet friendly and allow one (1) well behaved dog providing it weighs 20 lbs or less. Pets must be registered at the time of booking.
The villa is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 4 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. I can not say enough about our stay. Its one of the highest placed properties allowing some breath taking views but still close to town. There were five in our group and the only complaint was that we were not staying there longer. We will definitely will be returning to Casa Cooper. I also can not say enough about the Cooper's team. Special thanks to our hostess Vilma truly an angel. Anything you need they will get. My family is very thankful to all of you.

House was beautiful and set up very nice. The property manager was very nice and accommodating. The house was comfortable and inviting. Collaboration between the owner and myself was pleasant. Would definitely stay there again if the occasion arises. Close to town but the noise is minimal. Beautiful grounds and pools. The panoramic view was amazing from all balconies. A very nice rental property.

Perfect location and amazing views!

We went to Nicaragua for a week and visited Managua, Montelimar and San Juan del Sur. We stayed in San Juan del Sur for three nights. Our stay here at Casa de Cooper was by far the best. The location was perfect, just minutes from the beach. The villa was beautiful and the views were amazing. It was great that each of the three rooms had its own porch and separate entrance. The property manager, Gabriel, was was very accommodating, helpful and genuinely a nice person. The housekeepers were helpful and kind as well. They cleaned the villa daily and also did the dishes. This is a great place to stay for a family vacation. We had a wonderful experience at Casa de Cooper and would stay here again!

Overall the house it’s beautiful I would definitely come back, there’s some stuff they need to fix like the AC in the Master room it looks like it was broke down cause the room was hot, and the small room thr AC was working wonderful but it was throwing water and it was water all over the floor I have pictures about this!I called the manager and he never showed up till next day he didn’t give me a good excuse why he didn’t answered and he leave me on read on the message!! But other than that the house it’s beautiful I hope next year they will fix the AC my family is thinking to rent the rest of the villas around this one!!

My family and I visit SJDS every year or two. We love staying at Pelican Eyes. This was our first year staying in a private residence and we were not dissapinted. The house had ample space for our growing family. The location was perfect and we loved watching the sun set from the western balcony. We will definitely be booking this place again!

Casa Cooper is an amazing place. The views , comfort, decor, weather, laid back town and beaches made our Holiday outstanding. My favorite times were awakening to the spectacular setting from the many outdoor spaces and the sunsets from the front balcony. The owner George is so very friendly and accommodating. Nicaragua is the perfect getaway .

An amazing epic experience!

We would have to write an epic novel to fully explain how amazing our experience was in Nicaragua and specifically at Casa de Cooper :). The house was absolutely gorgeous inside and out and so spacious for our family of 4 adults/4 children. We loved the beautiful architectural details especially the bathroom sinks, which were carved out of stone. The kids loved the pool, which they couldn't wait to get back to after our daily excursions to town or the local beaches. The views from the many balconies were beyond gorgeous. We could see the ocean, sunsets, fishing boats in the harbor, the statue of Christ, amazing cliff side homes, the forest where we zip lined, fields of green where horses and cattle grazed, and banana trees growing all around the house. We loved seeing flocks of green parakeets fly past us and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing. George and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat. Weeks before we even arrived George helped us so much by recommending a transportation company to help us get from the airport to Granada, Ometepe, San Juan del Sur, and then back to the airport - such a gift b/c we had 8 in our party. George also provided us with a guide book to help us plan our stay in San Juan del Sur. We went zip lining, took surf lessons from a well-known and fantastic surf instructor, Baldo, went horseback riding on the beach, watched traditional Nicaraguan dancing at El Timon's, shopped at the local Pali market, and even went sailing. We were so thankful to also have access to the Pelican Eyes resort's staff for local transportation and for the most amazing snorkel/sunset sailing trip ever along the northern beaches. We can't wait to come back to Nicaragua, and we will definitely stay at Casa de Cooper again. Thank you George, Sandra, and the Casa de Cooper staff - it was the most memorable experience of our lives! We hope to see you again soon :)!
