I stayed here for a business trip because all of the other nicer hotels in the area were booked. The staff was really friendly but the place wasn't that nice. The room was in need of some cosmetic work. Chipped counter, leaking toilet, loud fridge, itchy bed . . . The vending machines were all sold out so was directed across the street and two blocks down to get bottled water and a snack. I wouldn't stay there again.

I enjoyed my few days stay at this hotel, very clean, quite location and friendly staff. Actually if you drive for 5 minutes there is a strip mall with a chinese supermarket. and the there are many restaurants at El Caminio Real. The funny thing is that it is hard to find the exact location of the hotel, it took me about 4-6 turns back and forth to the same exit until I found the entrance to the hotel. You gotta turn right on the first drive way right after you come from the highway exit on to El Camino Real.

Don't bother to make a reservation at this hotel because they won't honor it. I made a reservation four months in advance for a suite with two beds. A week before I checked my reservation and discovered they had changed my reservation without notifying me. Now I have a suite with one bed and the price increased by almost $300 for the five nights. Despite five calls to corporate and the hotel, no one can explain how or why that happened. Further, they were not willing to reinstate my original reservation. The hotel staff told me that the rates had increased and there was limited room availability. I explained that is why you make a reservation four months in advance. I was told both by corporate and the hotel that someone would call me back. No one called me back. I cancelled the reservation and I will never ever stay at one of their hotels.

Mice in the room that kept me awake at night. Breakfast is granola bars and oatmeal. The Zico hotel next door is dramatically nicer - much friendlier staff. Starbucks, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. YMCA just up the road. Each access to the 101. The mice will make me never stay here again.

Rooms seem to be old and very basic. Just a slightly larger room with 2 double beds. For a family, it felt very cramped. No cupboards, just an open shelf with a curtain! Cleaning is done only once/week. For the price, this is definitely not worth it! The only positive was that they did not make any fuss when we checked out early.

This was my first time to stay in Extended stay america hotels. My friend recommended me .I was planning to stay at my friends place and somehow had to make last minute changes and it was a great option. Also i got a good deal with discount on internet..Overall stay was great and had good time in the hotel.. Also they have lots of option in grab and go breakfast and you can take whatever you want.. Keep up the spirit guys

Stayed here for 2 weeks in June and all I can say is its decent. My friends weren't happy about their rooms, but my room was decent. Do not get a room close to the highway, all you'll hear all day would be vehicle zooming past by. I was fortunate to get the room close to the trail behind, as far as it gets from the highway side. Their breakfast is coffee plus muffins kept at the reception. They give you utensils to cook on your own, if you ask. Rooms have microwave, fridge etc. Free wifi is slow, but you can upgrade to higher speed for $20 for a month. Room service is once a week and you'll be informed of the schedule while checking in.

The hotel itself is acceptable, average. Best thing with the location is a track for walking or running. Breakfast and internet is included, but the free WiFi is very slow and you can upgrade for a cost. Breakfast is poor, oatmeal in a cup with hot water, some sweet snacks and coffee. Service on the location is good and staff is helpful. However, it has been impossible for me to get in contact with the hotel using emails, calling the front desk work. Using the phone for making reservations works, but the response back is poor. I did not get a written confirmation the first time, the second time it was not complete and the last time it had errors in it. Location is good in Mountain View, even if it is a bit challenging to drive to.

For short durations or emergencies this Hotel is sufficient. Ensure (like from others adviced) that you get a room away from the 237. "Grab-n-go" breakfast isn't worth to mention, as long you don't prefer/need a breakfast.

I only stayed one night and it was a horrible experience. The room smelled like food and was stuffy and outdated. The bathtub stopper was broken and just laying in the tub and the sheets and covers were scratchy and stained in places. The hotel sits right next to the highway so while that can be convenient it was noisy and nerve wracking. The one redeeming thing I can say is that the man that checked me in was very nice and helpful. They do have a grab and go breakfast with coffee, muffins and some fruit but it is very limited to say the least.
