Great location . Friendly staff easy check in. Very clean room and spacious. Near Santana Row and Valley Fair mall, with plenty of dining options and shopping easy freeway access to hwy 17, 880 and 101, 280. Will come back !
The location was nice but it is next to the freeway so it gets really noisy. Also their toilet would get backed up even when it was only fluids. The worst was the mini fridge, it was leaking water and it seeped into our socks and a backpack. At check out when I explained what had occurred the cashier said ok we’ll check that out. But didn’t apologize or seemed surprised at all. It seemed as though they might of have been aware but don’t really care about the upkeep.
Room had a small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator with freezer compartment. No frills kind of place but it worked for what I needed during this stay.
Room was overall nice however if you are booking make sure they give you the right room as they tried to give me a room way cheaper than what i paid for. When I confronted him he had an attitude but just give me what I paid for but other than that it was a very nice place.
They lost my reservation and moved me to a different room which they promised had a Jacuzzi. What they failed to mention was that it doesn't work and the buttons were ripped off. Everything else was alright but I can't believe they lost my reservation on Valentines Day. Their breakfast includes breads, oatmeal, waffles, potatoes, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, and yogurt. Also small coffee and tea selection. I got a few bug bites the first night and noticed they were in the process of replacing mattresses, evident by the 20 or so mattresses tossed in their parking lot. So..?
Beds were hard. Heater in room was noisy and woke me up. Very loud due to being right on street so you could hear traffic outside. Overall nice staff. Lobby gives the impression of a boutique hotel but rooms were more like a motel not a hotel.

The only reason I gave the staff that rating is because it has now been a consistent experience of being woken up due to the volume of the voices of the staff. We have stayed at the Row at least 5/6x in the past 8 months and it is now a consistent theme. The walls are paper thin and every morning we have been woken up by the staff. They receptionist staff, always smiling and helpful. The free breakfast is such a plus as well as the staff that helps with that. 10 out of 10. But when we're there to get away for a weekend, the last thing we want to continue doing is being woken up by the staff's talking and laughing (we know it's them because we now walk out to see if it's guests or staff).
I travel for a living and this one one of the highest priced and dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in. If I had any option to leave at the late hour I would have. Disgusting.
