They lost my reservation and moved me to a different room which they promised had a Jacuzzi. What they failed to mention was that it doesn't work and the buttons were ripped off. Everything else was alright but I can't believe they lost my reservation on Valentines Day. Their breakfast includes breads, oatmeal, waffles, potatoes, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, and yogurt. Also small coffee and tea selection. I got a few bug bites the first night and noticed they were in the process of replacing mattresses, evident by the 20 or so mattresses tossed in their parking lot. So..?

Beds were hard. Heater in room was noisy and woke me up. Very loud due to being right on street so you could hear traffic outside. Overall nice staff. Lobby gives the impression of a boutique hotel but rooms were more like a motel not a hotel.

The only reason I gave the staff that rating is because it has now been a consistent experience of being woken up due to the volume of the voices of the staff. We have stayed at the Row at least 5/6x in the past 8 months and it is now a consistent theme. The walls are paper thin and every morning we have been woken up by the staff. They receptionist staff, always smiling and helpful. The free breakfast is such a plus as well as the staff that helps with that. 10 out of 10. But when we're there to get away for a weekend, the last thing we want to continue doing is being woken up by the staff's talking and laughing (we know it's them because we now walk out to see if it's guests or staff).

I travel for a living and this one one of the highest priced and dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in. If I had any option to leave at the late hour I would have. Disgusting.

We checked in late & the staff was prompt & friendly. The room was standard, but the bed was very hard & the walls were super thin. The noise was my main complaint. From the maids talking & cleaning the room above us to children running around in the hallways being very loud, we were unable to sleep in & enjoy the late checkout we requested.

I stayed for 3 nights and this hotel is a simple 15 minute walk to Santana Row, which makes it appealing. The area is clean, safe, and close to the highway. Since I was there for work, the location was convenient. While the breakfast was just OK, there was enough of a spread to get what you wanted and have a decent meal quickly before heading out for the day.

The shower head doesn’t working well correctly. And that angle is uncomfortable for me because couldn’t fix it.

The room was very loud from the outside road, and there was a musty mold type smell in the hall and our room. The decor is perfect, I absolutely loved it, but there was dirt and grime in the bathroom that was not pleasant. For the amount this facility is charging our stay should have been far better of an experience. We stayed at a very cheap hotel at the airport prior to coming into San Jose and that room and hotel service far exceeded this expensive stay at The Row. I would not pay the money to stay here again.

I stayed on the third floor in an executive suite

The hotel staff was helpful and the room was clean and it was affordable.

This experience was pretty disappointing. At check-in, the young concierge told me they can't give me the room I booked (king bed with Jacuzzi) and gave me a room with two queen beds argued with me that it's the same thing and even more expensive. The funny thing is that when I was booking this room, the price of the room with two queen beds was about $40 less. I was tired after a long day so I decided to take the room and stop reasoning with someone who clearly had no experience working at a hotel or understood anything about online pricing and etc. The room was nicely decorated and at first, I was impressed until I noticed how first the bed was and saw the messy paint job in the corners of the walls by the bathroom. The jacuzzi bath tub was very old and didn't look clean, The drain was missing the cover and it was covered in rust. There are two late night "spa" massage businesses right across the street I was facing so that was a bit strange. I will not stay here in the future.

The only reason I gave the staff that rating is because it has now been a consistent experience of being woken up due to the volume of the voices of the staff. We have stayed at the Row at least 5/6x in the past 8 months and it is now a consistent theme. The walls are paper thin and every morning we have been woken up by the staff. They receptionist staff, always smiling and helpful. The free breakfast is such a plus as well as the staff that helps with that. 10 out of 10. But when we're there to get away for a weekend, the last thing we want to continue doing is being woken up by the staff's talking and laughing (we know it's them because we now walk out to see if it's guests or staff).
