Overall had a wonderful stay at this quiet resort with my family. The food was delicious for every meal, and the staff were friendly, particularly Rita who went above and beyond in her service and was so kind and friendly, she just seemed to ‘get us’. The pool area is also beautiful. We booked a day trip to Tikal through the resort, and it was the highlight of our trip! Marco our guide was outstanding in his knowledge and so friendly, it was well worth the price. Some things to consider, the welcome drink is a nice touch, but after a long hot travel up (went to the ruins on the way) to the lodge, we really would have preferred to go to our room first and freshen up. It felt akward to sit at the pool in our hiking shoes, and we felt sort of like we had to stay there for the drink. Maybe a drink ticket for later in the day would be a better option. Also, the set dinner menu gave little option and was extremely expensive with no pricing. For our family of 4, we were shocked at one dinner costing almost $300 usd! The second night we were given the option just do main dinner, not all 3 courses, but the fact that nothing was priced until after the fact was misleading. Other than that we had a wonderful stay, and would recommend for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The staff were all very friendly and enjoyable to chat with. The grounds were lovely. We enjoyed all the opportunities that were available to us both on and off site. We thoroughly enjoyed tubing and canoeing from the resort and also enjoyed the Botanical Gardens adjacent to the lodge. Every day, after our excursions we cooled off at the beautiful pool. We would recommend this place!

Fantastic property. Staff was incredible. Every meal we had at the restaurant was exceptional. We saw monkeys, toucans, and lots of other wildlife right at the resort. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable stay we’ve experienced. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the treehouse for our first 2 nights in Belize and were blown away. Great set up to keep bugs out. Staff was on point, property was well maintaned with plenty of wildlife. Beautiful through and through. Thank you Sweet Songs.

This was one of the best experiences we have had. Absolutely loved the Premier Treehouse and the staff was friendly and amazing. The food was very good and big portions. Esmeralda was fabulous. She explained everything in detail. We briefly mentioned we were there for our anniversary and the next day our room was decorated. This was a big surprise and meant a lot to us. Also, she brought everyone umbrellas when it started raining and wasn’t letting up. Her attention to detail was very apparent. The bartender at the pool side was also fabulous. He made the BEST drinks and provided great recommendations as to the excursions. We also did horseback riding on site and very much enjoyed this. The views were amazing and I would recommend doing this. The atmosphere and feeling of being in the jungle was what I was looking for. I would stay here again.

Worth every penny

We stayed in the premium tree house and wow what an incredible place. If I could go back I would have booked the signature but they dont have the outdoor bed do its a personal preference. Service and staff is 10 out of 10, couldnt be better. So much to do on the property like kayak & mountain bikes, food is absolutely delicious. Cocktails by the pool is a must, especially happy hour. I recommend staying minimum 3 nights and really do STAY at the place. We saw monkeys, toucans. I would love to return. And they surprised us with a gift as we were celebrating our engagement here.

Amazing bird watching and beautiful natural environments to photograph them in. Great staff, always accommodating and friendly. Very quiet area which is easy to walk and feels very safe yet isolated. Great experience all around. Great food, fresh fruit. In the mornings, the dining staff puts out fresh fruit on a bird feeding platform and it's a blast watching the Collared Acaris and Brown Jays, etc come in and eat

Amazing stay where the jungle surrounds you. The wildlife is incredible. Treehouse 12 is a wonderful choice. You can even go up and lay in the tree in your own private hammock. The pool is beautiful and Henry took great care of us making delicious drinks. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay with amazing staff, Clean and safe! Delicious food. Always place to eat at the restaurant. Excellent service. The pool was amazing! The road to get there is a bit bumpy (for the rental car) and the beach/river looks nice but the kids didn’t want to spend time there.

Wonderful stay, amazing staff, hard to describe how great this place is. Not too fancy, but not completely roughing it. The ride in is on a rough road, no doubt, but once there you can spend all day exploring and enjoying the resort. The food absolutely didn't disappoint either.

This place was so wonderful. The staff were super friendly and quick tohelp as well as pointing out wildlife They're so knowledgeable. Everything was clean and picture perfect. My family didn't want to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay under the canopy. The pool was gorgeous & the food was amazing. We enjoyed the lazy river & proximity to Xunantunich. The road into the resort is rough, so be prepared for 5 miles of dirt/gravel at the end. We arrived at night, which I don’t recommend.

Sweet Songs was the absolute best place ever. The staff were incredible, the rooms were fabulous, the pool is a dream. I don’t think we could have had a better experience. They remembered our names, dietary restrictions and the food was incredible. I can’t say enough good about this place. We will absolutely come back.

A Peaceful Jungle Retreat with Great Activities We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Song Jungle Lodge in San Ignacio, Belize. The lodge is set in a beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by nature—it truly felt like an escape from the everyday. The staff were all incredibly attentive and helpful, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, although it was a bit on the darker side, which is to be expected in a jungle setting. One of the highlights of our stay was spending an evening by the beach enjoying a cozy bonfire. We also joined a night hike and spotted some really interesting wildlife—such a unique experience! During the day, we loved the river tubing and canoeing options, and happy hour was always a lot of fun and a great way to unwind and socialize. Overall, Sweet Song Jungle Lodge offered a great mix of relaxation and adventure. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Belize in a serene, friendly setting.
