We used this hotel as home base for a Bay Area trip. North to the Golden Gate was a nice drive as was south to Great America. The room was fine and the continental breakfast was great for a quick start.
Accident occurred tonight around 6:30pm. My colleague bumped into the glass door and nose started bleeding. I approached front desk and asked him to ask manager to call me back. At 11pm, manager did not call. I called them, asked the manager Adam if he is aware of the accident. He initially said he was in and out and didn't get the message. Then he said the front desk did tell him, but he only got in 15 minutes ago. And he planned to file an incident report and take care of next day, it seems that's the only thing he cares-filing the report and take care of it in 24 hours to comply with corporate rule. Adam didn't really care and didn't bother to check my colleague situation. Both front desk and manager failed their duty to check on customer, showed gross negligence not to check into it and lied about not getting the request. Front desk laughed when I told him that I almost bumped into it. He said many people did that. When I got serious after my friend got hurt, he told me he is busy with other customers and will report to manager. He said he would post a sign, but he didn't.
Clean room , fairly comfy bed , good LT parking rates when I booked, as they had a special going on
I stayed one night at the hotel. The toilet made a lot of noise every time I flushed it. The alarm clock on the night stand had been set to 6:00 am and rang, the clock rang again until I unplugged it. I could hear the garbage truck collecting garbage from my room and the noise woke me up. When I went to check in and out the staff was friendly however I feel they should wear some type of uniform, that would look more professional instead of t-shirt.
I don't have a bad thing to say about this hotel. The staff was good, the breakfast was basic, but good, and the rooms were surprisingly nice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel.
It's a nice little hotel. Not too expensive either. If you're looking for a place to crash after a long day in San Francisco then this hotel is reliable. Only problem I have is the breakfast was weak . Only offered two cereals and some pastries lol
What impressed me about his hotel was not just the rooms (spacious, clean and comfortable) but the amazing staff who were attentive and professional.
The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
Staff were nice and room was also clean. I would definitely recommend it. The location was great. Every thing was right there with in walking. The room was spacious and comfy I would come back again.
This establishment is very comfortable, my room was very spacious with a good television which is very important when staying out of town for work. The beds were not comfortable for me, but I've found very few that are so that must be taken into consideration. There is easy freeway access and plenty of places to eat nearby.
Great location for our stay in San Mateo. The staff members that we interacted with were very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable. Would stay here again.
good, not great..price is good, clean and no issues. Area is safe and not far from Airport
Free breakfast. Room was ok. the location is ok. Staff was good. Value for money. Would stay here even if it was personal trip
We had purchased four rooms through a travel third party. We called the hotel to check that everything was OK and thankfully we did because when we called, the receptionist there was completely clueless. She told us it was not paid, although it was pre-paid. They had the rooms wrong and the person whom we spoke with was very uninformed and not interested in helping or solving the issues. We ended up having to call the agency twice and it finally was resolved.
Good proximity to the airport. Nice facility and staff.
Older but renovated hotel. New beds, internet, nice TV, etc. Has a great plaza 50 yards away - anything you need. Every kind of oriental restaurant you could want.....
This was rated as a three star, but it barely deserves a one star rating. I was very disappointed in the room. First of all, we were given a handicapped room, when we didn't need one. It was a very cold night and it took the heater a few minutes to get going. It was one of the old window heat pumps that made a lot of noise. There was either low or high settings and it seemed like the room was either too hot, or too cold. The carpet and decor seemed old and drab. Worst of all, the WIFI barely worked. I was trying to do a project online while there and the connection kept dropping out. I called the office, and they just acted clueless. There are definitely better hotels in the area.
I expected a much cleaner room. Carpets were old and sticky. Definitely not 3 star
A descent Inn, easy assess to highway. Staffs are very friendly. 1-2 night stay is OK.
It was just an ok hotel. Too much noise from highway 101
