Place was okay. Pet friendly. Room was quite run down.

The motel is very old and the tub was dirty paint was missing spiderwebs hanging everywhere

The rooms at this Motel 6 are Huge! Very well kept, refrigerator, microwave, sofa, flat screen tv and large bathroom.

The place was a mess! Bathroom was dirty, the room was so warn out and in bad condition. The tv wasn’t working and had to call someone to come in our room and re wire it. I had reserved a non smoking and was placed in a smoking room. I had to go back and request my non smoking room.

We make two reservations. The first one was for two nights, the second one was for one night. When I checked in, I verified with the desk clerk that I had three nights reserved in total: Wed night through Sat. Thursday, we went out and when we came back, our key did not work. I went to the front desk and again verified that we we still had two more nights of stay. Got the key reactivated and went back to our room. We then discovered that housekeeping had been in there, and we did not need housekeeping. Friday morning we were getting ready to go out and Housekeeping just right on in. She apologized and shut the door. Then we get a phone call from the front desk asking if we are staying another night. Ummm yes, we paid for it already! The bed was okay but the floor was pretty disgusting. There was trash behind the dresser that we threw away. Overall the experience wasn't great but the hotel was sufficient enough for what we needed.

I spent a week in this hotel and I was totally happy with my stay! It isn't fancy at all, but it's a nice affordable place in a very expensive city. I actually chose it because they are one of the few hotels who still have smoking rooms in California. That was my only real criteria, but I was VERY happy when I arrived. The room was big and clean, it's quiet, the staff are courteous and friendly, and it had the necessities. I was visiting my daughter who is stationed there and was working a lot of the time, so I spent a lot of alone time at the hotel. As a woman on her own, I felt very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel! They have lots of non-smoking rooms as well, that are far away from the smoking rooms. The smoking rooms are actually an advantage to non-smokers, since people don't need to be outside smoking in the parking lot. iInever saw any smokers outside while I was staying there.

The area is VERY sketchy and not safe. I stayed by myself and felt extremely uncomfortable the entire night. There are several people in and out of the parking lot. Looks like drug deals were being made. Do not stay here!!!

I am from south america and I thinl it has a vero good location

Roughly at half an hour distance from Sea World. The rooms were clean and spacious. Had enough slots for charging the phones unlike other average hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast was good.

Very affordable, I was actually concerned with what type of room my wife and I were gonna get for the price, but we were both pleased. Room was dated and not modern.. But if you can get past that, it was clean, comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and attentive. We stayed for a few days and our room was always cleaned and restocked with fresh towels, coffee, soaps etc. on a daily basis. The room was big and comfortable. I definately would recommend this place if you are on a budget.

Very bad location, there are people who roam around the hotel in the nights and ask money. They look wild. The room I got is in a bad condition. Bedsheets were torn,TV does not get switched off in anyy means(like a ghost TV says receptionist),Phone doesn't work. Not at all worth a penny. AVOID IF YOU CAN!

The hotel was clean from the inside, this hotel is okay for adults to relax and watch T.V but not for kids, they were board, NO pool no nothing, and the sad thing is there is room for a pool, thats all.

the hotel is about average in everything but the staff need to improve and the services they provide were on point.

good location, quite clean, the breakfast is simple but acceptable

Clean & quiet right beside I-5 and bus route to downtown and $$$$ hotels in San Diego

A conference hotel on Coronado had sold out. (did not want to pay over $200 a night either). This one was about 15 minutes away. Was quite (especially being so close to I-5) The painters got a bit carried away during the last overhaul and could stand some cleaning up on the stray paint. The HBO guide was for the previous month, but I didn't have the inclination to watch TV anyway. Since it had some age, the room size was large and the water flow was high. With my schedule, did not have much interaction with the staff.

I've stayed here twice and both times they had everything very clean and were always super nice. The price is really great for what you get.

Its a good deal for the money charged. I went for New Year Eve and had good experience overall. Basic facilities are quite good and there are no frills (which are not useful anyway).
