The room was very nice. Very clean. Bathroom had more than enough towels. Bed was very comfortable. Only complaint was there was only one elevator working; I don't mind the stairs but they were not easy to find and didn't leave you in front of the hotel.(out by the side of the hotel, there were two bums sleeping there, so I went down another floor and exited through the parking lot 😅) Other than that, I would definitely come back here again.

This was my worst stay in a hotel so far. Water outage upon check in -> no apologies or compensation whatsoever. Most unhelpful front desk. Room next to railroad, the whole room would shake from all night. Asked multiple times to switch my room. Customer satisfaction in not a known concept in this hotel. Staff at front desk were rude, unhelpful. After checking 5 times they finally had me bring my stuff out and leave it at front desk to check me in another room at a later time (no estimate given) and only for the last night. They eventually asked me to go in the back room to pick up my bags myself. Honestly worst staff I have ever dealt with the terrible location next to railroad.

Solid hotel option for downtown San Diego
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is safe but very noisy - train tracks nearby and next to a fire station — lots of sirens. Hotel looks like it is getting refurbished, but it was in general older and showing wear and tear. Bed & linens were clean & confirtable, and bathroom was clean & bright. 👍. Location is walking distance to dining and tourist activities.

Nobody mentioned that the hotel was under renovation so the entrance and the lobby and the kitchen were all in bed shape. Also in our room there was a light that was motion sensored that kept going on all night and kept us awake. The cleaning people left their cleaning rags in the room and the iron we used to iron a pair of white pants have black stuff stuck to it and ruined our pants
