Likes - clean quiet room. Comfortable beds plenty of pillows. Restaurant under construction noises started about 9am. Clean pool Quick check in check out. Cold AC. 20 minute drive to SeaWorld and Belmont Park beaches. Friendly hotel staff. Dislikes - low water pressure. Only two shower towels provided. Room with stove has no overhead vent causing smoke detector go off as soon as stove is turned on. No sponge provided to wash pots pans. Limited tight parking spaces. 20 dollar parking charge. Restaurant closed under construction. Premises dirty garbage on ground. Ice machines caused flooded areas. Homeless encampment right behind hotel. And down the street. Nothing walkable around hotel. Heavy traffic morning and afternoon trying to leave hotel and get back. Sliding bathroom door hard to close completely.

Basic room

This hotel has been upgraded over the years. Shower area is improved. The choice for carpet over a vinyl laminate for floor is perplexing; it takes away from it looking more updated. Parking is a literal nightmare. Spots are tiny and if you arrive late in the night, you may not find a spot at all. Another concern is the door. It was not a complete seal. You could see the outside through crack in door from top to bottom and it also amplified outside hallway noise. The door also locked us out accidentally when the safety clip somehow got flipped when we shut the door. We had to wait over 20 minutes for maintenance to show up to get us into room. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. No frills, nothing extra.

The WiFi did not work at all so I was unable to get any work done, the kids said the pool water taste weird (they accidentally got water in their mouth) and the jacuzzi was dirty and there was a weird smell coming from it. The parking situation is crazy they allow way too many cars to park than stalls they have the first night I went to get my kids something to eat and got back and had to park in a handicap over the next couple of days I watched cars have to back all The way up as my side was dead end and had no parking very I convenient for them I’m sure. All I have to say is that the bed was comfortable and I did appreciate them cleaning the room Daily since a lot of hotels do not anymore and cannot beat the price for 3 nights in SD but was not happy with $20 a day parking.
