Ocean Beach Stay
So the apartment itself was clean and cute. There are a 1/2 dozen or so units. There courtyard space is for all the units but it was well kept and Quiet while we were there. The whole complex is gated so you feel safe. The distance to the pier and Beach is less than 100 yards. The downside is the neighborhood itself. There’s a lot of homelessness in and around this apartment, pier, beach and town. The pier itself is disgusting. It seems like there’s no effort to clean it at all. If the apartment was in a different location I would stay there again but I was not impressed with Ocean Beach. Lastly, the flight pattern for the San Diego airport goes right over the pier. You hear planes takeoff all day and they start at 6:30 AM. I would stay in Mission Beach next time.
