We checked in a little after 8pm and the front desk staff was extremely rude. I thought maybe we disrupted a break or something based on how he spoke to me, rushing me along. Are you ready yet? When I told him we had been charged before check in. The room was smaller than most of the LaQuinta’s I stay on during travel but that wasn’t the probably. The room seem dirty and unkept, sinks had something brown in them around the edges and something brown splattered on the bathroom sealing. Hair on the towels and stained blankets. There was a strong smelling coming from the AC unit and to be honest, I didn’t think switching the room would help based on all the issues. I waited until we checked out before leaving a review, didn't want any issues with this staff. Breakfast was never really there any time we went so just bought something from around the area. Best of luck staying here if you need more space or a clean area. Ugh!!!

Room was alright, breakfast was okay. Location was good for work but there were some homeless people wandering the parking lot one of the nights. Staff tried to accomodate my needs to stay later than 11. The only issue I have is I requested the room for 11am on a third party app and when I got there at 1:45 I wasn't able to get into my room and had to wait in my car in the parking lot for 45 minutes because they hadn't finished cleaning. I can't imagine they are simultaneously cleaning every room. I get the rules, but it should be changed to not be an option on third parties to set correct times you're able to get into a room.

We have been staying here for the past 3 years on our way to San Diego or Santa Monica from Vegas because it’s the perfect location to stop and sleep. Plus the staff are always so friendly to us and our furkids. The king suite is perfect and always super clean.

Upon checking in, we met a very friendly worker. However, when we returned to the hotel around 4 p.m., we encountered a bothersome worker who was also bald I did not catch his name. He kept staring at us and seemed to be annoyed when I asked for the ice. When we bought some water, we noticed his attitude becoming somewhat rude towards us. I couldn’t determine if it was because we were Hispanic or something else, but he continued to stare at us. When we noticed him, he asked, “Are you guys staying here?” in a very rude manner. We responded, “Yes, we are. Why would we be here if we weren’t staying in the hotel?” He replied, “You would be surprised,” but his behavior remained rude even after my sister and dad went downstairs to buy snacks. If it weren’t for this one worker, I would have given the hotel a 10, but unfortunately, his behavior made it a 7. I never felt so uncomfortable in a hotel as I did that day. Thankfully, the next day, he was not there.

Yes on both counts. Unfortunately the heating system for the room (312) was not working. It only blew cold outside air. I reported it to the person at the reception desk.
