IT N THE RIVER WALK BUT, IT FAR DOWN FROM EVERYTHING GOING ON. YOU HAVE TO WALK TO GET TO ANY WHERE. ALSO VALAY PARKING IS $35.00 DOLLARS THEY DON'T TELL YOU UP FRONT THE PRICE UNTIL YOU CHECK IN. AND THE ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL

Was easy and friendly service even the ease of valet

We stayed for the weekend, the staff was very very polite and helpful; from the moment we arrived and valeted our car until the moment we checked out. THe concierge was one of the most helpful and friendly I've spoken to, very couples friendly and family friendly.

I called multiple times to confirm the final price, and once I got to the hotel I recieved charges that were not in my bill estimate , they charge you for everything and it is on the dead end of the river walk, although the hotel is clean the price isn’t worth it especially paying around $150 more than you expected to pay.

The bed and pillows were horrible in this room. If we stayed another night another room with a better bed would be needed.

It was a nice stay . Average room , service and the valet was excellent.

Still haven't got it fixed...they charged us three times for parking

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Wyndham. The staff are all excellent and even loaned me a charger for my phone. I liked that you needed a room card to access the elevators for safety. While it is on the Riverwalk it is about a 1/2 mile walk to all the popular places and the walk is dark at night. It was just my wife and I walking in a remote dark area with a Plasma donation center right across the hotel. Other than that, everything is perfect. The food is good and the place is very clean.

Good location, nice room, great staff. Will book there again.

Easy going staff very respectfull and responsible helpful very clean hotel close to surrounding resturants would recommend to family and friends thanks

Easy check in and service to the room. Valet parking was spot on. The River Walk was a one minute walk from the front door. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent.

Staff too busy Not enough staff..... @ the breakfast area.

1. I called on the way there only to find reservation was canceled, so rebooked. When I got there they did not have me showing that I rebooked. 2. Small rooms no fridge or chair to just sit in. 3. Took off my shoes to get on bed only to step in dog pee which was in two places and fresh. 4. Had to walk a while to get to the places that are happening and was very worried walking back to hotel at 10:30 cause walkers were few and far between toward the hotel. 5. Ask for towels three times before we got them then someone tried to deliver again at 11:30 while sound a sleep.

These are a couple of things anyone with kids should know. 1) At about 10 PM we saw over 10 mostly naked strippers on the sidewalk from the parking garage elevator. I'm not sure what kind of business is nextdoor. 2) One night our entire floor smelled very strongly of weed. The staffs initial reaction seemed that they don't care that much. Someone had to of disabled a fire alarm. 3) Adult entertainment is an option on the home screen of the TV Everything else was average.

There's no parking in the main garage or with vaket for handicapped people. I was forced to walk 1/4 of a mile to and from the second garage after back surgery. Moreover, the place is so ratchet that people next door were loud and fighting. I reported the incident to the manager at 2:30AM late at night and was told an officer warned them. Nonetheless, the doors were constantly slamming since the drinks were coming in from clubbing...etc. the pool was overcrowded and the water looked disgusting. With that many people in the pool, I'm sure it also became the restroom as well.

All was good. Especially liked the pool. Service was good. Friendly folks who e=went out of their way to help if there was a problem.

Everything was great. You will have to walk about 10 min. To get to the more popular area of the downtown/riverwalk area.

A small getaway for my husband and I walking distance to everthing we wanted

Dated, and not worth close to the $220 reservation for one night! I wish I would have taken into consideration the comments of other guests. Pool outside was ice cold, bathroom shower had mold, towels, pool area and other items seemed dingy and dated. :(

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful in terms of telling us where to go for food and entertainment. In addition, the location wasn't very walkable. We were there for a conference and it was a nice 20 minute walk to the convention center and 10-20 minutes to everything else, including the Alamo and Market Square. The room was very comfortable as well. I just wish there had been a refrigerator for my Mexican food leftovers!
