The beds are VERY uncomfortable & the hotel is mediocre for the price... understanding that it’s a historical landmark doesn’t really give it justice for the dirty carpet, bedsheets & inadequate air conditioning. As i stated again the beds are very uncomfortable, if you need a comfortable bed do not sleep here. With that being said. Location is decent. A block away from the riverwalk. 👍
First of all the hotel there were nothing to eat when we arrived and all the places were closed. The parking should be free to the customer that stay at the hotel. Ridiculous to pay extra for that. We had to change rooms due to the noise outside the window. On the plus side. The room was equipped with plenty of towels and soaps.
This is a junk hotel from 1910! The entire building smells. Clogged drain, broken and loud air conditioning unit, nasty room furniture and amenities. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk. $40 parking fee is ridiculous. Save your dignity and stay away.
The hotel has a wonderful reputation and I can honestly say it lives up to that reputation. My stay was incredible and I enjoy it very much. Very quiet and very relaxing and I will most definitely come back in the near future
The location and the older features were kept. Really fast elevators too!
Center of river Walk and the Alamo, nice area to stay, we got to the hotel at 8:30am and they let us check in at that time, I thought I was going to be waiting till my chk in time, but thank you so much for early chk in, highly recommended
It was a beautiful property and the staff was very accommodating.
Customer service is the worst in this hotel. During my check in the front desk manager was rude, I didn’t have a room reserved when I had my confirmation in hand and paid for. they told me we are overbooked and walk away. No explanation was so ever!!!!!.... I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL...VERY POOR LEADERSHIP and no MANNERS...
The location, staff, & room was very nice!..........
The staff was really great. The hotel is in a busy area but near the riverwalk.
Great hotel, Architecture is near as it is one of the oldest hotels in San Antonio. Great location.
I liked how close to the venue it was. I bought comedy show tickets and walked right across the street for the show. It’s off the Riverwalk so my wife and I got eat at a great restaurant, get some shopping in. We had a great time
Overall, experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and advise me about local attractions. If facility was always clean. It is conveniently located to multiple downtown locations including the Majestic theater, Alamo, and shopping along Houston Street.
Super friendly staff, very accommodating and helpful. Will for sure stay again on my next visit
Great elevators. There older and small. But pleanty of them, smooth, and super fast so no waiting. Everything a elevator should be.
Very Friendly staff, main location , close to every thing outdated and snall rooms Can hear all street noise, even next room bathroom flush sound Good if you are staying for fun but not for business or interviews
The only problem was the water in the bathroom sink didn't run. And the water in the toilet, overflow.
