Peaceful stay near the city

Stayed in this lovely home while attending the Final Four! We loved the quiet neighborhood and hearing the birds throughout the day. Perfect break from the crowds at our sporting event. Would not hesitate to stay here again when in San Antonio.

Wonderful stay / great location

Great location for anyone visiting San Antonio - especially if you have kids at trinity. Convenient to some of our favorite restaurants and a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Also to note - when many places state their kitchen is stocked it’s far from it. In this case it really does have everything you need. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay in San Antonio

We had a terrific time here while in San Antonio. The home is spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was well thought out and provided for us. Great Kitchen!!!! Comfortable beds. Convenient to Grocery store (HEB) Nice places to eat out. Close to Park, Japanese Garden, Zoo and Botanical Garden. Short drive to Riverwalk. Host was accessible and welcoming. Thanks so much. We'll definitely return and would love to stay here again!

Beautiful furniture & Rental is on the 2nd floor

I love the quality and comfort of the furniture at this property. Most rentals have used, mismatched, and uncomfortable furniture. Not this place! The furniture is lovely! Upon entering the front door, you have to climb stairs to get up into the 2nd floor living space/rental property. The stairs may be a challenge for those with mobility issues. I may have missed it on the rental description, but I was a bit surprised that someone lives in the lower level (first floor) of the property. Also, parking is in front of the property; however, if you want to park in the carport, the drive to the back of the property is long and narrow; therefore, we just chose to park in front of the property. The location was perfect as it was close to downtown and the Pearl Brewery restaurants. A few blocks from the property there are local restaurants; but at this time, it is under heavy construction. It will be really nice once the construction is complete. We so appreciated that Don and Karin were responsive to all our inquiries.

Excellent spot!

The unit is incredibly lovely with vibrant decor! Wonderful use of natural light and tons of space! It’s also within walking distance of a few excellent restaurants! It was the perfect spot for us!

Beautifully Decorated, Close to Everything

I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a safe, clean place with plenty of amenities, comfy bed, and perfect proximity to fun things in San Antonio. The hosts went above and beyond in preparing the house and everything that you can think of was provided!

Perfect

The home was so beautiful and clean, so relaxing and comfortable. The owners are so nice and helpful. We spent a week there and it was the best vacation. We highly recommend this location and will stay again on any future trips to San Antonio.

Cool house. Perfect for small family

Well stocked kitchen in a completely renovated 100yr old classic with a classic feel and all the perfect modern touches. Our family of 4 had a perfect stay in this super cool house. No issues at all, the owners were super communicative and helped with anything we needed. Just a few minutes from downtown and in a super quiet neighborhood that is a 5 minute walk from cool bars and shops. Would definitely stay again.

Very Nice Home in San Antonio

This is one of the nicest homes we've stayed in! From the moment we walked in, it was readily apparent that the owners are very meticulous in every detail in regards to the decor and functionality. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with higher end appliances and high quality cookware. While not really walking distance to downtown, the home is a short 8 minute drive to downtown San Antonio. The neighborhood is safe with a nice mix of different home types which gives it a lot of character. Definitely recommend!

Great Getaway Trip!

Only good things to say about our stay! It is a duplex with a separate entry to your upstairs house. It felt completely private and the check in/out couldn’t have been simpler. It was cleaned to perfection and was a neat mix of a historic home with modern upgrades. We came in for the rodeo and some other things and everything was under 15 minutes for commute. The only thing to note was the hot tub was down outside the first floor home, so we didn’t end up using it because it was less convenient than I expected with the cold weather. My guest and I said numerous times we plan on coming back to this VRBO!

Wonderful Getaway spot

My husband and I decided to take our girls on a impromptu mini-vacation when their school closed unexpectedly. We booked on a Sunday afternoon and arrived on Monday. The property was gorgeous and very well maintained. The kitchen was stocked better than any rental we've ever stayed in and was perfect for us as we didn't want to eat out too much. The hot tub was great fun for our girls, the office was a welcome amenity since I still worked some while we were there and my husband and I enjoyed the balcony after our girls were in bed. The only communication we had with the owners was upon checkout, but that was a very positive experience and we even chatted about my daughters obversion with the cat who visited outside. The location was ideal for us as it was close to the zoo, Japanese Tea Gardens and downtown. The rental really was perfect for our family's mini-vacation and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

Cute House

We loved our stay in Monte Vista! The house is on the second floor of a duplex. The space was perfect for a few friends to stay together. The home is very comfortable and clean, plus we loved relaxing in the Hot Tub! Monte Vista feels very safe and is walkable to so many great restaurants
