Close to the Riverwalk. The hotel is in very poor condition. I wouldn't recomend this hotel

The room was dirty, and the all the drawers in furniture were broken.

Rooms were very hot a sticky was sweating all night had to get a box fan put in room. Door did not lock at all could just be pushed open. Not clean at all beds had dark stains everywhere. Towels had yellow stains. Just a very poor run down place.

Great location/ but property needs to be remodeled to dirty

Given the price, I didn't expect the best hotel or even an average one. However, this was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The two biggest problems were the airconditioning and the other people staying there. The room smelled fine until you turned on the airconditioner and it was foul, foul smelling. The people staying there were loud at all times of the night-- I was awoken at 4am by people having a long loud conversation outside of my door. I kept waiting for them to go in their rooms, thinking it was a goodbye conversation, but no, that's just where they were hanging out. And the night beforehand I had to complain to the front desk about people in the room beside mine, and they said it was the third complaint. They finally called the cops (at 2:30am). I would have accepted the other small problems as just part of what it is to stay at one of the cheapest hotels in downtown, but those other problems made it simply awful. Don't stay here. Pay the extra $20 to stay at the best western down the street

great location close to riverwalk. very nice front desk staff. room does not have dresser to put clothes in . older.room but has fridge in there. would stay there again . very flexible late checkout

Wrong name of hotel, not Alamo Inn. Grounds of hotel dirty. Ice machine broke 6 days we were there, with no interest to fix. Free breakfast is coffee, tea, 2 choices of cereal, toast bread with margarine and grape jam at of communal jars, donut and muffin taken from prepackaged and placed on table, banana and small waffles. Getting to second floor near office smelled of gas leak, night shift office worker said yeah we know! Room(s) are old, as noted by night shift office worker, but at least the flat screen tv is 3 months new; as she replaced the broken lamp in the room. Seems certain rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. No central light in room, just 2 table lamps. Cleaning room, always left 2 towels for three people, towels are small, they don’t vacuum room, they use a broom—duh its the 21st century. Dusting the furniture was just a casual wipe. Even at 60 degree setting the room was never cool. The window curtains never closed securely so someone couldn’t look in or night lights didn’t keep you awake. Pool has no life guard—so swim at your own risk. Bottom line, get the motel if your going on the cheap. It’s close walking to main sites, so you can avoid the expensive downtown parking charges. But also, that leaves one to drive or walk if they want to eat a worthy (real) breakfast or other meals.

Room was not clean at all and had only one towel! AC was blowing dust! I was very disappointed as I have never sleep in a place similar to that one!

The staff is friendly. The only issues I had was a leaking toilet, a poorly lit room and only one electric outlet. Besides that, the hotel offered free breakfast, which is great. Also, for the price, you can’t beat being close to downtown.

No smoking rooms smelled like smoke, breakfast was poor, facility was old and in bad shape.

Greetings and thank you for your comments from your recent stay with us. We are disappointed that the other patrons near the facility and at the facility ensured that the stay would not be as pleasant as planned. We have noted your concerns and will retrain the team in regards to the proper protocol to handle issues that you had mentioned. Thank you. Sincerely, Hotel Guest Experience Team
