Good Place. In heart of Downtown. Nearby to all places . Clean nice place . Will visit again . The hotel is getting renovated and upgraded. San Antonio is a nice place for a getaway. The staff was very friendly and helping

The first room had, what looked like, buffers on the drapes, electrical outlets which did not hold our chargers, filters in the ac unit were dirty and cleaned them the best I could. Paint in the room was a dark brown and not to appealing to the eye. The TV was another interesting challenge. You had to make sure it was on channel 3 our 4 and no guide to see what channels were available. Before we even got settled, the a.c. unit I that one didn't work and had to move next door. Day 2 had things go good until we got back from sightseeing and heard the fan hitting something inside and making a terrible racket. We hoped it would subside but at 9:30 at night we called and they came and attempted to fix it. Later it started again and barely got any sleep. We were headed out the next day anyway

This was one of the only few left to book for 4th of July at the last minute. What a mistake! The property is NOT WELL MAINTAINED! The outside was very messy and dirty. Once we got in the room it was worse! The furniture fabric is stained! The room looks nothing like online photos! Bathroom faucet was loose, two lamps had no wall outlet to plug them in! When the room was painted they painted hit the woodwork, wall mirror, sink back splash, etc! GROSS! Then comes continental breakfast! What a joke. It was coffee, cold cereal, white toast, banana and mini powdered doughnuts. The doughnuts weren't fresh! They opened each package up in front of us and put them on a plate! They could have been months old in the package. When we called to complain they said that's what continental breakfast is! It's usually FRESH BAKERY ITEMS in any place I have ever stayed. No apology or consideration was given by Mona the manager for any of these issues until I called Corporate! This stay should have been free for the experience we had! I thought we were overcharged for this dump! We would have checked out but nothing else was available for two days. I did call Choice Hotels to complain and the manager gave us 20% off!! BIG DEAL. It ruined our trip! I Don't even think of staying here!

I got a LOT more for my money than I expected. The rooms were clean, and the staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel was only a few blocks from the Riverwalk and Alamo Plaza, so it was very conveniently located! I never once moved my car! The only drawback was how dated the hotel was. The ice machine closest to our room was broken, and there were not enough plugs to accommodate all the electrical devices we own as a family. This is nothing a power strip would not fix; however, so if you plan to stay here, pack a small one and your trip will be perfect!

Everything in the room was in bad shape (beds were okay). The room was dated and didn't seem to have daily maintenance (basic cleaning not done). + 1. Walkable distance from downtown attractions 2. Free parking - 1. Rusted microwave, broken furniture, clogged bathtub, dirty toilet seat (see pictures), 2. Not sufficient light in the room This hotel is not recommended at all. It would have been worth to pay $40-50 extra on a better hotel. Downtown tip: the streets went nearly empty around 9 PM (no pedistrian). If you happen to stay at this hotel, you would want to reach the hotel early or take a cab.

It's ridiculous that when I check in, the Indian lady claimed that I had canceled my room!!! And she said she cannot do anything to help me, I have to ask the website. After 10 minutes she finally waked up and noticed the reality is I canceled my booking at first, but I booked it again before I arrived. I was just shocked about her attitude to the customers. She won't want to help you. When she made a mistake, she won't apologize!!! If she did't give me a hard time, I would give them 2 stars, considered the price. I killed 2 small roaches in the bathroom. Don't open the frig if you don't want to see a dead roach in it!! TV is not working. The room is dark. Thankfully, there's no bed bug. AC works. Shower is good. Internet is OK.

I decided to give this place a shot to save some money. But I'll never stay here again. 1. Toilet paper on roll had maybe 3 sheets on it. 2. Stains/rips in bedding furniture. 3. Alarm clock didnt work. 4. Some of lights didnt work. 5. No plugs close to bed for electronics. 6. Door busted on ac unit, just placed on top. Why not remove it. 7. Broken toilet seat lid. 8. Ceiling had a big sinkhole area. Looked like water leakage from up stairs. 9. Old school tube tv which didnt work, only got one 1 chl to come in. I read mixdd reviews of hotels some I've chanced had wonderful stays others horrifing. Like this one more cons than pros for sure. But front desk was friendly, parking lot exterior looked clean/tidy. It is on the northern end of the riverwalk, but close to main hub stuff. So this would be a perfect stay for someone up here partying. But I wouldn't bring my family. I saved $15 from other hotel a tad further away. I wished I spent the extra cash.

My seven-year-old son and I came in to San Antonio for a BMX race. Upon arrival at the roadway it looked a little sketchy – no big deal. Once we got into the room the odor of smoke and mold was so incredible that we could barely stand it. Little roaches everywhere to Fleas actually bit me. The room was filthy, and we were greeted with an empty roll of toilet paper. The TV would not function properly – we spent a total of about three minutes in the room before my son said daddy I am scared to stay here. Say no more- we left. I booked the room using points, when I tried to get a refund on the points the hotel manager blocked it. He was not willing to work with me – although I am sure this is a situation that he deals with every day because his hotel is terrible. Please do not place your family in this hotel – ever. The hotels next guest should be a bulldozer, because it needs to be plowed over and re-built. I cannot believe that they can rent those runs out in that condition.

The a/c worked. Spanish and Indian speaking Staff available to take money. 3/4" Gap under front door for mice to enter. Holes in carpet at corners of room, closet and where bathroom met floor tile. Holes around pipes and huge hole at ac power outlet. Toilet seat and lavatory counter were so worn they could NOT be cleaned or used by decent people. Heavy deposits on shower surround and head. Repairs and tile work done by DIY' selfers with no skill. Heavy caulking over mold instead of cleaning. Deep cleaning of carpet and corners not done for years. Outside stairs and deck walks consist of cracked, broken and patched concrete. Just a filthy and worn out facility that needs gutting. Staff hang around smoking. No sound insulation between units. Old CRT TV's snap , crackle and pop. Towels were cheap, threadbare and stiff. What continent is "Continental breakfast" from? Cold and cheap cereal with watery milk. Drapes cracked with age and VERRRRY DUSTY. Curtains Would disintegrate if washed. Room chairs are ripped, threadbare hand me downs Pool water murky. Had to shower AFTER short swim. Parking verrrrry tight. Hardly room for a standard PU truck. If you are a desperate drunk fraternity group this may be your place but my wife will never let me make another reservation.

horrible! tv did not work , was not 100% clean, breakfast was only toast n cereal !? if you want to save some bucks n still be close to the river walk this is the place other then that don't recommend
