Typical nice Hilton property. Breakfast included is above average for hotel fare. Rooms are clean and well maintained, helpful, friendly staff. Good location, convenient to I-10, about 20 mins to Alamo/Riverwalk with normal traffic.
We really enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the service provided by D.C. during the continental breakfast. D.C. was friendly, good attitude, and cheerful. She always checked to see if we needed anything and offered to assist us however needed during our dining experience.
Alice was very helpful and offered excellent assistance and service every morning at breakfast. Great customer service! This was a cost saving for our family of four. Good variety of food. Also the room was excellent and the help was very customer service checking to see if we needed anything. The room was very clean and the temperature was perfect when we checked in. Also the exercise room was very well equipped and clean.
We planned a 17th Wedding Anniversary/Family trip. We didn't get here until 11:40pm on Friday & were graciously welcomed. Breakfast was very good and the staff was amazing at replenishing the food (because the hotel was busy). Chastity was wonderful on helping us and cleaning our room. We will come back to this hotel when we visit again. Hotels.com was so helpful in helping us with this great find!!
The rooms in this place are really tired and in need of updating. The cleanliness in the rooms and public areas is not good either. I don't know if this is an old property or the management is just ineffective - regardless, this is the worst of the many Hamptons I have stayed in.
Sevice was excellent. The room was comfortable & quiet. I was able to get a good night's rest. Only possible issue was the odd room arrangement. The TV was in between the living room area & the sleeping area and in front of the room. It was not directly facing either area & you could only rotate it slightly to one side or the other. Usually the tv is on the border of both areas and you can rotate it to face one area or the other. It was still a very comfortable room & the hotel staff was very helpful.
Hotel was okay. It's not quite as nice as most other Hampton Inn's we have stayed at though. We had a room on the very end of the first floor hallway. This was good for noise. It was very quiet. The room was very clean, beds were great, but there was mold in corners of shower and the bathroom doors were "barn-style" with glazed glass that made privacy feel somewhat inadequate. When we arrived about 6:00pm, my daughter hopped in the shower and there was no hot water. I let the front desk know and the man said he would let housekeeping know and disappeared, presumably to look into it. I stood there a bit unsure if I was supposed to wait or go back to room. Finally, I returned to room. Soon after, I checked the shower and the hot water had returned. I let the front desk know (they did not follow up with me) and he just said that he had checked on it and that the hot water heater was "filling" so he was unsure as to why we didn't have hot water earlier. The swimming pool and hot tub are indoors but are very, very small so it feels very overcrowded. The breakfast area is nice but the food is served in a separate, very small room. We were there over spring break and the hotel was full, so the breakfast area was PACKED. People were crammed into the serving area like Sardines; it was difficult to move around much less get food. The line for the waffle maker was 6 people long, so my 6 year old had to settle for oatmeal. They served cheese omelettes which were pretty good. The coffee dispenser for the coffee I wanted was empty. Kitchen staff was working hard trying to replace things, but they just seemed to struggle to keep up. Overall, I didn't feel like the hotel was worth the rate we paid for it. We'll probably try someplace different next time.
This place has amazing customer service! AND I left a nice pair of Nike shoes and they shipped to me for FREE!! So thankful!! When I called and told the worker my room he went straight to lost & found and there they were already.
Lots of places to eat in the area very close to fiesta Texas. Our room was very nice and modern. It's a great place for the weekend and very family friendly. Everyone on the staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was clean, comfy, quiet, commodious. Front desk staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating, kind -- Mark especially so. Couldn't be more pleased. Have new family in the area, will stay here again.
