The room was nice, but the parking area is very tiny. The shower desperately needs to be maintained as the water was leaking somewhere under the shower and it was oozing up through the floor when you stepped on it. We had to lay towels down on the bathroom floor to keep our feet dry. The bathroom floor also made an ugly squishing sound. I can't even imagine the mold/damage underneath that floor. The area is very walkable - we didn't move our car once in the 3 days we were there. We just walked everywhere.

Our room was roomy and just fine. Location was very good. Be aware that there is no elevator. Our room on the 3rd floor was a bit of a jog--70 steps--but good exercise.

Four night stay.

Four night stay at Urban Stay. Very close to train station and supermarket. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room is spacious. Bed is big and comfortable. Only thing is shower drain is extremely slow. Had to stop the shower to let water drain otherwise it will overflow the base pan. Within walking distance to everywhere.

Good location, didn't love the vibe

Needed a simple stay somewhere before an early flight, and while the location was pretty convenient and nothing was explicitly wrong, it lacked the charm and polish I'd expect in that price range, and the unmanned reception desk from lunchtime onwards was more of an issue for me personally than I'd anticipated. Also as i tried to leave just after the receptionist arrived they stopped me to check I'd paid, and was initially doubtful when i said i had - which was a bit of a pain as i was rushing for a taxi. All in all, certainly not a terrible experience but I'd look for a 24 hour reception next time, and i have seen it in that price range in Salzburg before. But this is just personal preference

The only good thing about this hotel is the price and maybe the location. I was told I would get a code in my email to access my key via an automatic machine, but I never received one. Upon arrival at midnight, we had to use the intercom system to get a hold of someone to finally let us in because the front desk is only occupied from 730-noon. It was only stairs to get to our room. The bathroom was so small 2 people could barely fit in it, it was out of soap, and the shower didn't drain, nearly flooding the whole thing. The hard water stains covered the entire shower and sink. The heat was on in May. The windows opened but the upper one was opened when we arrived and we were not able to close it. The storage was non-existent, and when we went to check out at 720 am, no one was there, so we had to just leave our key. Overall, we are young and wanted to save money, but I would never stay there again.

It is very convenient to the train station and to several of the sights. It was easy to walk where we wanted to go. Although the hotel doesn't have dining, there are several excellent restaurants in the area.

Came for Xmas market & city experience. Can’t fault hotel except for the road noise - & I’m being really picky here! Impressed that could get in room earlier than check in time. Key collection process was painfree. Only staff we met was at checkout & very pleasant.
