very clean and fresh towels were provided every day. staff was kind and it was easily walkable from downtown Salzburg. only thing is that the staff are not present 24/7, so it is on the hotel customers to lock the doors

The small hotel is nice. We have a very nice room, clean, comfortable bed and a short walking distance to old town. The staff was very helpful. Happy to have stayed and chose this hotel.

Clean warm room, comfy beds, great location 20min walk into Salzburg. Would not bother with the breakfast it’s €10 for continental but not a lot of selection so not worth the amount they charge, there is plenty of places to eat for less

Location was not good. Not walkable to train station. City center is approximately a 20 minute walk as well. Internet wasn’t working properly. I tried to log on several times but couldn’t. Warm water in the shower turned to cool water within 10 minutes. Breakfast was very skimpy but staff asked a lot for it. (7 euros) I would have to recommend a different property. Although hotel was very quiet. Hotel staff obliged when I asked for a room facing the courtyard.

Hotel Drei

Hotel Drei is a bit of a mixed bag. It is a 3 star hotel but when compared to other 3 star hotels I have stayed in in Western Europe, it feels a little less than 3 stars. Eg. Reception is till 8pm at night and doesn't open until 6am in the morning, the bathrooms and flooring were quite outdated, the towels were old and very tattered, and pillows poor. We stayed four nights and no toiletries were provided until the last night of our stay, which was just 1 packet of shampoo and shower gel (for 2 people). Other 3 star hotels provide a lot more toiletries. The beds were comfortable, however, the pillows were rubbish. They were very flat. The bed is advertised as a double, however, it was 2 singles put together. Im aware this is common in Europe, but I didn't encounter this anywhere else in Europe on my trip this time round. If the hotel advertises 'double bed' this is what should be provided, not two singles put together. The location is ok, you can walk to the Old Town, Mirabelle Gardens etc or catch 04 bus into town. The guy at reception on our last day was nice and printed off our train tickets for us.

Very convenient location to the main parts of town for the price. Only a block from two great breweries. Our bathroom was also recently renovated in an otherwise dated building which was a pleasant surprise.
