Cabaña de troncos de 100 años restaurada con amor, con baño y cocina nuevos

The Gallery Cabin, una cabaña de troncos de 100 años de antigüedad, cuidadosamente reformada con un nuevo baño y cocina. Perfecto para solteros o parejas, la cabina de 240 pies cuadrados tiene una nueva cama queen size, rincón de cocina con fregadero, microondas, cafetera, tostadora, horno tostador y nevera, y un baño con ducha y toallero. Se proporcionan desayunos: delicioso pan de masa agria de leña orgánica fresca proporcionado por Francis Bread en el lugar, granola casera, mermelada, leche, jugo, huevos, mantequilla, pan, yogur, fruta y café y tés. Cute spot for a short stay on Salt Spring within walking distance of downtown. Bread/eggs/jam were a lovely touch as many reviewers have commented. Kitchen while small has a hot plate/toaster/toaster oven which were great for light cooking. Barbecue was not in working order from what we could tell. Cleaning could be improved particularly in the washroom and bed/pillows were not the comfiest. Overall a good stay.

Duthie Gallery never disappoints. Every time we see the Council of Elders from the road, we know we are drawing close. We glamped once ten years ago with our sons here and this weekend, my husband and I stayed and celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary in the simple log cabin.

Super cute, cozy cabin with everything you'd expect in a place called a 100 year-old log cabin. Just a ten-minute walk to town while also feeling remote and peaceful. Came with a free loaf of artisan bread, pastries, orange juice and eggs - everything you could ask for. Lovely place, highly recommend.

Perfect stay in an idyllic forest setting. We truly loved our stay in this sweet cabin. Lovely furnishings, thoughtful touches throughout and a super comfortable bed! Great use of space and we loved the baking so much that we went to the local bakery for more. We highly recommend this place for couples looking for a getaway to Salt Spring.

Such a lovely place! Check in was an easy process and the breakfast makings that were provided were such a thoughtful addition. The hosts were very accommodating and kind, and I always received fast replies. Everything was a quick drive or walk, the grocery store was five minutes away and plenty of options for restaurants or food. I highly recommend staying here.

This was our second stay at Nicholas and Celia's cabin, and, again, they were excellent hosts as was Charles, the property manager. Everything from initial booking to check-out was a breeze, and any/all communications in regards to our stay were prompt, detailed, and warm in tone. The cabin was clean and tidy, and the kitchen contained everything needed to prepare simple meals. Breakfast items (i.e., fresh bread from Francis Bread [always delicious!], eggs, milk, juice, jam/preserves, etc.) provided were fresh and plentiful/generous in serving. We hope to be able to stay once again at Nicholas and Celia's beautiful cabin on future trips to Salt Spring Island and cannot recommend their VRBO property highly enough!

The cabin was cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The host went above and beyond by providing fresh bakery bread and other breakfast items in the fridge. We really enjoyed that. There was some local furniture and art in the cabin which was a cool touch.

The cabin was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. The fresh bread, jam, milk and juice was a welcome addition.The location is centrally located. Although the cabin is in a wooded area it is a short walk to the town center. It is quiet and private, and cosy spot to spend the one rainy afternoon we had.

A little too rustic for me. Road system on island was difficult to negotiate and construction on a section from Fulford island a nightmare. Road to lookout largely not doable due to poor maintainence.

Beautiful Salt Spring Island Visit

Lovely property and location, the cabin was slightly confusing to find at first as the photos were a little outdated. (the plants in front of the cabin had grown since the photos were taken and obscured the view, so it wasn't clear where to go)It was lovely to have fresh local bread and breakfast items available for us to eat each morning. The cabin was charming and in a perfect location.Thank you for having us, we would stay here again.
