We stayed here for a fun weekend with our daughter. To start, the check-in process was one of if not the slowest I’ve ever experienced. This was not just for myself but any other guest that came in as well. Easily a 5-10 minutes for what I’m still unsure. Our fridge didn’t work, we attempted troubleshooting prior to approaching the front desk. We were told that you had to turn it off and then back on (which had originally been done). Ended up having to discard about $30 worth of groceries which was extremely disappointing.
Our daughter wanted to swim so we took her to the pool. The water was freezing and not ideal for the indoor setup. Towels had to be requested from the front desk which wasn’t a huge deal except for having to wait for several parties to check in (reference previous). The towels received were the equivalent of bathroom hand towels. So if you’re hoping for something that’ll cover and keep you from tracking water back to your room, don’t bank on these.
The morning of checkout, we had housekeeping attempt entry prior to the 11a checkout time despite having the do not disturb tag out and not being checked out yet. We were told no rush however the housekeeper used the manual door lock to keep the door from closing…the only positive I have is how apologetic housekeeping was that the fridge situation was not handled appropriately.
Overall, I don’t anticipate we’ll be staying here again.
