Great location for visiting Salamanca

The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the historical centre of Salamanca. The check in times are incorrect as there is no checkin between 2pm and 6pm. The room, 114, was very nice with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and a good wifi connection. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with in walking distance for breakfast and other meals.

Excellent cost benefit

The gentleman at the reception is very kind and helpful. Very cheap hostel for what you get. Excellent cost benefit. You can park for free just 10 mins walking from the hostel and it's just 10 mins walking to the city centre. Totally recommended.

”Now I know where my home is Salamanca”

Amazing price/quality ratio! The room was of perfect size for one person and it was decorated nicely. My room was towards the inner court so no street noise could be heard and it had ac so Ihad the luxury of sleeping in a chilled environment under the duvet in a comfy double bed, sheer bliss! The location is perfect for walking and easy distance both from train and bus station and there are bus routes nearby to both so no taxi needed. There is no breakfast at the hostel but there are loads of cafes within 100 m distance so no problem. I know I will book this hostal again!

Always stay here when I go to Salamanca!

Don't let the word "hostal" put you off! This place is spotlessly clean, quiet and very comfortable. Some of the single rooms are a bit small, but often they will give you a twin for no extra charge. The Plaza Mayor is just a few minutes walk away. I've stayed here at least ten times and am always completely satisfied.

A nice find

We stayed 2 nights at H. Goya. Its about 30 minutes by foot from the train station and 10 minutes from the bus station; but we are walkers. Reception was excellent and understood english; helped us with some translations; and provided info on things to see and places to eat. Although the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. Hot water was not a problem as we have encountered in the past. Saturday night was noisy even through 2 windows, but then the Spanish know how to party late on weekends. Sunday night was like being in church. H. Goya is close to the old town. It was so convenient that we could easily return in the early afternoon and go back out again for the evening. We will book here again if we return to Salamanca - its an excellent value.

Basic and no-frills but clean

Lighting in room is not great. Located on a busy intersection, so there is some noise. Small bathroom. Very clean. One thing I did not like is that they keep your passport when you check in. Key system can be a little challenging (3 keys: one for front door, one for area/complex and one for your room)

Buena opción para visitar Salamanca, el centro de la ciudad está a 10min a pie. Tiene ascensor y un descuento para un parking cercano. También hay una lavandería cerquita si se necesita hacer una colada. ¡El personal del hotel es muy amable!

Un lugar magnifico para trabajadores que pernoctan. Es muy limpio y las camas y almohadas son confortables. No como en algunos lugares que sales con dolor. Es silencioso por la noche y la calefaccion es estupenda. Muy recomendable!
