Nestling in the spectacular Monts D'Ambazac (Limousin, Haute Vienne) and set on the edge of the beautiful historic village of Grandmont, Grandmont Gites offers two charming, stylish and cosy gites providing the perfect getaway for anyone wishing to explore this part of France.

Grandmont Gites is a chameleon in years gone by. Originally a hostel, later a hotel, bar & brasserie and at one time even, a pumping station!.

Les Fleurs has a modern feel to it yet still retains plenty of character and charm. Overlooking the pretty village of Grandmont, Les Fleurs sleeps 4 guests and is designed across the ground level. Two double bedrooms and a separate shower room plus open plan kitchen diner and a separate lounge with two comfy sofas.

Lac Saint Pardoux is 15 mins drive and provides a beach-in-reach. Packed with all kinds of water sports and year-round activities - it's a great place to keep the family entertained.

The area of Grandmont is surrounded by lakes for fishing and swimming, with endless forest trails and stunning scenery.

Excellent 10 day stay in lovely property. The Gite we stayed in was perfect, clean, tidy all mod cons etc. Pool and outdoor facilities also perfect. Lovely hosts - Louise & James, both very helpful. Would recommend without hesitation.

Saint-Sylvestre Gite

A lovely rural location very quiet and charming hosts. A car is essential and there is a nearby lake Saint-Pardoux with numerous activities. Late check-in at 6.00pm made the first day challenging. Hosts Louise and James were fantastic and very helpful.

Great place to get away from it all

The gite was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and garden area was amazing and our teenagers would have happily spent all day, everyday in there. Location is remote, a car is a must. We also hired bikes but found the area very hilly so you need to be fit! Nearest town is Ambazac which is lovely with shops, a couple of bars and places to eat. The Lac de Saint-Pardoux is worth a visit. There’s a nice beach, water sports and aqua park. Again something the teenagers enjoyed. We didn’t see much of our hosts as they were away most of our stay, we did enjoy a drink with them on our last night though. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Pool fun, peaceful beauty and adventure in one place!

Our stay at Louise and James‘ gite was a fantastic retreat for the whole family. Everybody got their favorites: the kids enjoyed slashing in the beautiful pool, which had a superb lounge area alongside for the parents to relax and enjoy the bbq. Thx to Louise‘s tips we discovered the beautiful city of Limoges, lakes for swimming around the corner and went on hiking tours. The area seems rural, but there is so much to do and see. Overall we have been blessed coming here and having found this beautiful spot with such kind hosts, who were always there to answer questions and make our stay as comfy as possible. We can highly recommend this place.

Au vert, comme on le souhaitait.

Superbe accueil de Louise & James. Aux petits soins pour que notre séjour soit parfait. La piscine est dans un écrin de verdure magnifique. Le gîte est idéalement situé pour aller faire des randonnées entre 7 et 20 Km dans des chemins et autour d’étangs tous aussi magnifiques les uns que les autres. Nous avons adoré le coin. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

A lovely stay

We had a great time at this accomodation. Very kind welcome and we were very well looked after. The playfacilities were great for the kids and we've enjoyed tabletennis and the swimming pool ourselves too. The appartement was clean and well equipped. The surroundings were beautiful. Definitely recommend.
