Pros - 2 kms away from the fort , rooms are spacious , staff is really good , food is nice , cards are accepted , the property itself is quiet beautiful. Cons - no networks , wifi is weak , no other place to visit except the fort , the nearest ATM and petrol pump is 7 kms away . Was there for 1 night with my friends overall the stay was good ... Had a great time ... :)
Pros - Silent, Good Service, AMAZING BREAKFAST, Nice View During Rainy Season, Room Size Quite Big, Very Near To Fort, Neat & Clean Area, Great Ambiance. Cons - No Wifi, No Cellular Network, Quite Expensive During Off Season Also.
One outstandingly beautiful Fort built by Rana Kumbha amongst the beautiful and formidable mountains of The District of Mewar, This Fort had never been besieged or attacked due to its location and huge walls encompassing it on top of a commanding peak. This wall around its perimeter is the longest wall on earth second only to the great wall of China. It is amazing on so many levels breathtaking beauty and 360 degree views from the very top. Its a must to do if you love historical beauty and set within awesome natural beauty.
It's an isolated resort in Kumbhalgarh... good for the newly weds and for those couples want to spent time together best part of the resort is restaurant manager mr. Dhoolsingh Ji they helped us in the best possible way they can as we went with kids. The worst part is restaurant's menu which surely need to be taken care of.... the reception person was quite rude for asking wifi password as thr are no signals in ur mobile ( wifi was the must to contact family)but the over all experience is good... can give a thought for a stay
Very good location. Also very near to Kumbhalgarh Fort. Food is good. Price is little high but we have not choice because there are only few best hotels/resorts available at that location. This hotel is part of HRH group.
This is a modern, but nicely designed hotel 2km from the Kumbalgharh Fort. It's a perfectly easy walk - although along a road. The hotel is built into a cleft in the Rocky Mountain on which the fort sits. Aodhi is the word for a hunting lodge - and the Maharanas of Udaipur were active hunters in the area, as depicted in paintings in the Udaipur City Palace. The hotel is one of several owned by the Maharana. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, although a little dark. The best thing is the tranquil atmosphere, the sound of the birds and the lovely trees and vegetation. There are green parrots flitting between the trees and monkeys jumping across the roofs. There's a swimming pool, but unheated. Too cold in February. There's free Wifi, but because it's remote it's not reliable. The food is good and cafetière coffee (rare in India) is very welcome at breakfast. The staff are attentive and delightful. It's definitely the quality place to stay in the area.
Since my sister and her husband were visiting India we decided to go to on a family vacation. This was a great choice of destination and we were extremely happy with the service at the hotel. The rooms, the property, the staff, the food- everything was on point. Great stay overall.
We were visiting Kumbhalgarh second time, with our family. We had a very nice experience in 2008 and chose to come here again. The rooms are nicely located in the hill. The rooms are big size but need some what updates. Dhulsingh was there at 2008 and he was here again. Him and other staffs were very hospitable. We enjoyed the cultural program. Food was good too. It is very close to the Fort so very easy to go in the evening to the lighted Fort.
We visited this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary we booked thru IBIBO called and informed Mr Vishal that we are comning to celebrate this ocassion. He promised the best servcies and extended servcies along with complimentary cake.Forget about any extended or complimentary services but instead they were very rude. For water we had to call more than 5times.They charge 25%extra if food is odered in room and they dont give u plates to eat inspite of several reminders and calls we had to eat in bowls they served food in. Even after complaning the staff didnt had any courtesy to say sorry. We paid 9500/- for only bed and still we did not enjoyed our speacial day.many more resorts and hotels coming up soon they fill face tough competition
