If the location and price and bed accommodations are your priority, then go for it. But if you have other options, I would avoid this hotel. The room was not vacuumed and had that old cigarette smell, although smoking is (supposedly) forbidden on the premises. Pet friendly, which unfortunately means human unfriendly. Bums around the property, pushing around their shopping carts and using bushes as bathrooms. Having breakfast available on the premises is nice, with a good selection (waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal; bananas were available one of the three days we were there) but we were hardly able to enjoy it because so many others were staying at the hotel the breakfast was packed with kids so we had trouble getting a table and had to wait in line a long time. Small breakfast area not prepared for a lot of people to be staying at the hotel. Avoid the hardboiled eggs if you plan on being places other than the bathroom for the next hour. A barking dog was in the room next door. Abandoned, his owners were not there. Of course that is against the hotel's policy, but they did nothing to enforce it. We moved to another room late at night so we could try to get to sleep. Then police helicopter overhead for an hour, presumably looking for a prison fugitive around the premises.

The hot water barley worked in our room....asked for extra tows and sheets the maid had an attitude...

It was nice to be welcomed by the receptionist, who even if she was busy, took the time to acknowledge, our presence and ask us to please be patient since there were clients ahead of us. The room was clean and kept a a good temperature, ready to enjoy a good night sleep.

Nice, clean, upgraded porperty. Pillows were a little too fluffy for my comfort... other than that the place is priced well, good location

I could hear my neighbor through the wall while he was watching the game. Also, heard him get up in the middle of the night, pee, not flush or wash his hands, and then get back into the bed. I could hear the mattress as he laid down! They put me in a handicapped accessible room because I checked in early, there was NO showerhead on the wall, there was only a handheld nozzle. The cleaning staff didn't clean my sink and I was there for a week. Only reason I stayed is because I booked it through a third party vendor. The hotel is surrounded by homeless, but that seems typical in Sacramento. They weren't the problem, the hotel was!

Our experience has been very good since we have obtained what we need for this trip, take care of its quality of service which is very good

The staff was rude and unhelpful, except for one receptionist. First room we got, the tv was broken. The second room smelled of smoke and the coffee maker was broken as well. Many, many homeless around the hotel (and I'm from Detroit), bad neighborhood. Avoid like a bed bug!

Spotlessly clean. Nicely renovated. The problem was they didn't upgrade the plumbing. Shower was warm at best. Toilet was very slow, threatening to stop. Perimeter fence topped with concertina wire due to the homeless population of the area. Not the best experience we have had.

Near to downtown, very nice, very clean, a little noisy in night but the room so comfy!

Room comfortable/clean - staff helpful, friendly, good food (enjoyed morning free breakfasts)

Not professional check in. Otherwise hotel was ok.

Booked a non-smoking room and the front desk only had smoking rooms. The rooms condition itself was bad. There were chips and dirt on the bathtub. It's going to get interesting when the front desk lady says - call security if people get rowdy. And it was loud all night long. Would NOT recommend

On a business trip with a colleague. Excellent stay & good WiFi

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location was convenient and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay but on the busy days, they ran out of food.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. I felt welcomed and appreciated. The only flaw was the number of homeless around the hotel.

We came in at around 9:30 pm, the staff noticed that the room wasn't clean or the bed wasn't done. So we waited 20 min for someone from front desk to choose who goes to clean and finish. I understand if we came at 11am or 3pm, but bed still not done after 9 pm? This is not right! The girl who cleaned the room sprayed air fresher very strong, ok I opened the door to air it out. Then because the room was facing the highway the noise from trucks and motorcycles passing by kept me up for hours. I called the front desk the staff said he would move us but all rooms were booked. My husband was glad we booked only one night there. Nice breakfast though.

The room stank and the bathtub was dirty. Lots of sketchy people around the hotel.

I booked a king bed got to the hotel and was downgraded. When I got in my room there was two cockroaches, called the front desk changed rooms. The next room I slept all night with the lights on just in case didn't see anything during the night but early morning found another cockroach in the bathroom. Horrible stay.

Great location and easy freeway access. Great customer service
