close to marginal area. Some vagabonds nearby but hotel manages it well. Put in new carpeting and it would be great.

The location said it was close to the airport, however it was at least 15 minutes away. The neighborhood was industrial with signs of homeless. The hotel needs a facelift and when we checked out we heard there were updated rooms.

Everything was dirty, even the dishes in the cabinet. The shower curtain, toilet seat, lamp shades, window curtains, carpet and chairs were all in need of repair/broken. I would never recommend this hotel even after their construction is done. Oh yeah the hotel was under construction which made for loud distracting noises through out the days that I reserved. I was extremely upset and uncomfortable the whole time. The way I left the room was way cleaner then the way it was when I first entered. Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Sacramento doesn't even get one star in my rating! This hotel was so awful I didn't even take pictures. I didn't want to believe the reviews I read before hand but unfortunately I totally agree with people who would never stay here again!!

It could be a really nice hotel, just really old and outdated, the shower was scratch and molded on the shower knob. Room was really spacious nice breakfast setup though.

It's was bad condition of the room, old carpet and furniture not worth for the price. Front desk staff really helpful and friendly but breakfast finished too early while the kitchen staff took back almost everything before closing time

When we arrived at the hotel, the whole hall smelled awful. It was so offensive, that we had to request a different room. The new room was in a clean hallway but there were dead bugs on the bathroom floor. The room did however look like the picture and the beads were soft with lots of pillows, it is close to downtown and the freeway. The morning breakfast was also decent, but more variety would have been nice. Overall for an affordable, quick stay this hotel is alright but it would not be one I would recommend if your looking for total comfort and convenience

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room that I stayed in was clean and comfortable but needs a facelift soon. This hotel establishment has six separate buildings and I do not know if other buildings need a facelift or not. Generally, it is a very nice hotel and plenty of parking spaces. Complimentary breakfast is slightly better than the other hotels in the area. The only complaint that I have was Wi-Fi service which was not very reliable during my stay and hope they fix it soon.

There was hair all over floor. Was not a clean feeling room. Cable did not work. Went to elevators and homeless guy was standing around corner which felt unsafe.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were polite and got us squared away pretty quickly. The room itself was dated, with very few amenities in the room, aside from a TV, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It was a spacious room, but most of the space was wasted. The heater/air conditioner that we relied on during the cold nights was pretty old, but managed to work well enough. The bed and sheets felt clean, and the bathroom was clean as well. Free breakfast was a plus as well.

The hotel was nice enough for the price. Rooms in many different buildings. Took a decent walk to get from our room to breakfast. Pool was not heated as website suggests but hot tub was great albeit a bit cool at only 102 deg.

Nice place. Large room. A bit dated but provided all that was necessary.

Nice and clean hotel lobby, but bathtub had big chips in it between 2-3 inches.

The location is convenient and we enjoyed a friendly Denny's nearby. However, our room needed attention. Housekeeping never replaced a few stained towels that we encountered after checking into our room. We had to get them from the front desk staff. The freezer had many inches of frost.

I was very happy with all they had to offer. Will definatly stay there again.

Cheap appliances and fixtures, 2 inch gap in bottom of door to hallway, peeling paint and counter covering. At least it was clean and quiet.

It was a very nice stay, things are a little outdated but that's ok. Outside at night doesn't seem very safe.

Scary area outside of the hotel. Parking lot seems secure, though. Comfortable bed. Decent price. Seems like it was once a great hotel, but because of the area the hotel has not wanted to spend much to improve. Staff was helpful and nice and breakfast was good.

We stayed here for a few nights during a move. Despite the neighborhood, the hotel is clean and safe. The elevators and stairs gave us plenty of options for running our 2 dogs downstairs.

The bed was comfortable and overall the room cleanliness was better than most 3 stars hotels.
